Love the owner and Mr. John. I appreciate their passion to share Caribbean culture in Takoma. However, their smoothies are horrible. I tried 2 different flavors and couldn’t finish either. My mom enjoys the food there so that’s a plus.

I never write reviews. I stopped by for the first time and ordered Brownstew Chicken and chicken soup. I like soup and i must say this is Chicken soup my mom used to make. Pumkin, choo choo... just delicious. I will be back.

The food is ALWAYS outstanding. The delicious dishes are more creatively crafted by an artist, rather than, but are still skillfully prepared by the chef! Mr John and his lovely wife are superfine people who make all thier customers feel like a member of the family at the Thanksgiving table. Best food in DC!!!!

Solid Jamaican spot in DC. I had the j*** chicken wings. They were great! I will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

Miss Spicy took care of me on my first night in D.C. Love her restaurant and food.

The worst service I ever had. The lady at the front counter was rude. WHOTHE HELL HAS CHEESE ON JURK CHICKEN!!!

Cancelled my food. Lady at the front had a nasty attitude. She should be in the back.

the manager is very "hoggish" in manner. I won't go back even though the cook is wonderful. but the woman needs to smile, be polite, be open to speaking nicely and most of all take a course in customer service.

Good morning, I have been going there for 18 years and enjoy eating the food. It's always fresh and the owners are just wonderful and I just love them. Don't hesitate to drop by and try the food.

Curry goat meal was not bad. Shredded cabbage like Cole slaw. Undercooked. J*** wings were disappointing. Too hot. Dry on the inside. Didn't taste fresh. No co co bread. No beef patties at end of day.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE GOGO.

Kinda fell off a little bit. But still ok rasta dishes..

The spicy Oxtail lunch was the bomb. Best Jamaican food I have ever had. I will always recommend this local Jamaican restaurants to my friends.

The food is terrible. The j*** is not grilled and more like brown stew chicken. It was very salty and not good. The owner is rude and place is cash only. I would not waste your time.

I visited the eatery for the very first time today. I was kinda excited based off the rating alone. Highly disappointed. I found a roach in my order of plantains. I won’t be back and I will be filing a complaint with the health department.
