Really wanted to love this place. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind. But everything else about the experience was forgettable. Not sure what vibe they were aiming for but the menu and the decor are mismatched chaos. Service was slow despite the dining room being nearly empty. The food was serviceable but more in line at what you would expect at a large chain restaurant. Not a terrible experience by any means but in a city with so many wonderful options, it's nearly impossible to recommend this place.

Station 4 was not hard to find and parking was not bad for me at all. I found street parking. The establishment is beautiful. Great place for sexy pictures in the evening. The service was great, I was with a large party and the waitstaff was attentive. A few of the ladies from the group enjoyed the lamb chops, they said they were very flavorful. I had the fish and chips and they were good. I would return

Station 4 is overpriced for their offerings. We had an underwhelming experience for a middle of the road hipster bar and grill type menu. Our kids were offered some “kid-friendly” options off the bar menu; they landed on $16 buttered noodles and $15 8” cheese pizza. They're pretty adventurous, and we aren't opposed to splurge on specialty items, but nothing stood out. We also stuck to “safe” options with the roasted half chicken $38 and chicken sandwich $26. Their calamari was decent, but nothing special especially for the price. We've paid a comparable amount for a smaller portion at nicer restaurants, but in those cases there was a unique take on it. This was just run of mill with “specialty” aioli. We also ordered the bulldog shrimp arancini...it's 3 shrimp and 2 fried mashed potato balls. There are 5 in our family, so a bit disappointed when it came out and realized not everyone could try one of the shrimp. Relieved we didn't order 2 to make sure everyone could have one because maybe a whole shrimp was eaten. We love a good dinner out and we're willing to spend for the experience, Station 4 is not it.

Love this spot as it's close to Arena Stage and the food is divine! They also offer a three course meal for $39 for theatre goers, but I wanted the French onion soup and lamb chops. Our waiter gave us a discount even though we selected off the full menu which we thought was really nice. Whenever I attend an evening show at Arena Stage I go to Station 4. You can't go wrong here!

Our server Andres was WONDERFUL! Very understanding and attentive. The food was absolutely horrible. I was apart of a party of 7. Everyone was disappointed. The jambalaya was terrible water and tomato paste at the bottom of the bowl gross with absolutely no seasoning. The salmon let’s just say rare like hospital food. I could go on and on about the dishes very very low quality food. The tables and chairs are falling apart this place is an absolute disaster def not what myself and partner are use to. Def not recommended.

I came for Happy Hour on a Wednesday night, seat for 1 please. When I walked in, the manager was sitting at the table by the door on his cell phone. A person in need walked past him to beg us at the bar for money. He didn't even notice and the bartender couldn't get his attention. He had to ask the person to leave the establishment. Once I sat down, the first thing I noticed was the bar countertop was sticky. Gross! I had to request a wipe down. From that initial experience, I was not expecting to receive the menu and see fast food at a $$ price point. I ordered the $10 shrimp tacos and the tortilla was stuffed with pico de gallo and grilled shrimp that's it. The guacamole was fine but again nothing to rave about. I asked for an order of fries and it cost $13. It's outrageous for the subpar service, food, and ambiance. I do not recommend and I will not be back.

i thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my 24th birthday here. God is soooo good. my birthday was on a friday and my plans fell through with my original restaurant on the wednesday of the same week. thursday morning i found station 4 on tik tok and booked a party by 4 pm with Salwa's help. she's amazing!! a soft-rainy night in dc, station 4 provided me with the garden room for 20 of my great friends and i. it was heated, we got to play our own music, and the food was great. i custom picked the menu, we played games, danced, took pictures, and had a wonderful night. the restaurant is VERY metro friendly as it's about no more than 20 steps from the Waterfront station on the green line. we were able to stay in the room until midnight, though the restaurant had closed. our server was on his game and worked quickly. it was only a bit intimidating at the end when they were rushing to clean our table at 11:00 due to the fact that they were closing when some folks weren't yet done eating and there were many servers standing around waiting for payment (as if we weren't going to.) but overall, i'm very pleased w the experience and i think everyone should host a party here if they can! i will continue to recommend my friends to book!
Omg My Birthday Experience Was So Amazing S/O To Our Waister And All The Stuff!!! The Atmosphere was Amazing .No Muisc Played Just conversations With the people you came with or you might see someone you know !!!!! Thank you 10/10
Pre-Arena 3-course menu has very good variety of choice, can substitute a glass of house wine for dessert. The salmon bowl was excellent, very well-developed main course salad. Hummus and pita appetizer delicious, very creamy, pita was very fresh & soft. Shrimp appetizer never fails —- rich, garlicky, fragrant. 3-courses (or 2 with wine choice) for $39 is a good deal.

The Sunday brunch was wrapping up so it was quite loud and noisy. The food was ok, the chicken was under cooked. I was disappointed that the menu was not updated online and the items were not available. The noise subsided after the brunch patrons departed. The manager made amends with the wine tasting and cheese cake for desserts.

I normally don't write reviews, but my experience here made me write this one. I was greeted by a less than welcoming hostess. Ordered a cappuccino and it was barely warm/cold when I got it. Ordered chocolate chip pancakes, sausage links and fried potatoes. Asked for cheddar cheese on my fried potatoes and that guy told me that don't do that. Asked for a coke soda and it was just carbonated water. Didn't taste like a coke at all. Got plain pancakes not chocolate chip and one small cup of syrup. The sausage links were hard and appeared to be warmed up not freshly cooked. To top it of they charged a 20% Service fee on top of what we ordered. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! There are plenty of other places in D.C for brunch.

My wife and I enjoyed our experience at Station 4. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated promptly. Our server came to our table and greeted us with a friendly smile. She made excellent recommendations from the dinner menu and the food was delicious. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal and we look forward to returning to the restaurant in the near future.
