Timber used to have AMAZING zaatar biscuit breakfast sandwiches - one of my favorites in DC, would frequently bring out-of-town guests, convince friends from other neighborhoods to come get them,etc. Have just learned they are no longer serving breakfast. Extremely disappointing business decision - now there is no place on upshur serving breakfast sandwiches on Sundays :( I am not a very big fan of their pizza (in the neighborhood, Ice N Slice is way better), so there will be no reason for me to ever go to Timber anymore.

We'd been wanting to go here for a long time and finally made it out. This place is amazing. It has a nice cozy vibe and you're hit with a warm, lovely aroma or baking pizza as soon as you walk in! We got the Green Monster and The Shirley and both were absolutely fantastic. They have good beers on tap too.The dough is light, airy and delicious and doesn't sit in your stomach like a rock. Everything about the food is spot on.

Timber Pizza Co. catered our wedding on January 13, 2024 and they were EXCEPTIONAL! Kevin made sure we had everything we needed and the food was the talk of the night. Communication was always open and easy from the first email requesting taste testing up through our wedding night. They took care of any of our guests dietary restrictions (even celiac) I can’t recommend them enough! To quote my husband “this is possibly the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had”

Solid choice for pizza. I've had a few, but my favorite is the Bentley. Service is friendly and the pizzas come out fairly quickly. It's a very busy restaurant in a small space that is cozy and warm.

The hype around this place is well deserved! We had it for the first time this weekend and wish we had tried it sooner. The Ward 4 and Pepperoni pizza were *chef's kiss.* I typically don't gravitate toward thin crust pizza because I love the dough of thicker pies, but this one managed to be thin and also have delicious dough - I'll be back!
