Great neighborhood bar with easygoing staff. It has a strong community vibe where customers know one another and bring their dogs to play. Suitable for special events like holiday parties, birthday gatherings, key sporting event watches, etc. Indoor and outdoor spaces are available, good for a sunny day or rainy day if you at least want to get out of the house.

Rude customer service especially towards Asians. They would be friendly to other guests then suddenly rude and bossy for no reasons to us. It was the weirdest interaction I’ve ever had.First of all they don’t pick up phone. Also, I left a bag and tried to speak to the bartender (by saying “HI”) but he was busy so I waited. When I finally got his attention I said “Sorry sir, I left my bag..” Before I finish he demanded “first you have to say hi and how are you, then you ask me a question” which I thought was so bossy but I proceeded to say “sorry”. He repeated that I had to say “hi how are you” while staring at me while I felt very confused and uncomfortable. I told him I did say hi and he said he didn’t hear it. I said “that’s all I have to say” because I believe I was not the one being rude plus I am a middle age woman, not a child. He continued to *stare* at me in a very rude way and finally gave me my bag back. I said thank you and he never responded. It is normal having a bad day at work but please be professional and dont *the only Asian customer in the room*. Respect is earned and it goes both ways.

Love wet dog! Great place to hang out for a great beer at a reasonable price. Service is friendly and accommodating. Obviously being dog friendly is a plus! You can sit outside with a big group or inside at the bar.

Worst customer service. bad vibe, bad menu selection. overpriced. spend money somewhere else!First of all they don't pick up phone. tje bartender was rude and bossy. Also, I left a bag and came back to get it. I tried to speak to the bartender (by saying "HI") but he was busy so I waited. I had the weirdest and rudest interaction ever:When I finally got his attention I said "Sorry sir, I left my bag here.." Before I finish my sentence demanded I say greetings "first you have to say hi and then how are you" before I ask him a question which I thought was so bossy but I proceeded to say "sorry". He told me to start over again and speak to him the way he told me to. I told him that was all I have to say because I believe I was not the one being rude and I am a middle age woman, not a child. I told him I did say hi and he said he didn't hear it but proceeded to stare at me in a very rude way. He gave me my bag and I said thank you and never got a response.hear me out. It is normal having a bad day at work but please be professional. why dump it on *the only Asian person in the room*. Funny he was so friendly with other guests who wasn't asking how his day was. Also it's normal wanting to be respected but respect is earned and it goes both ways.

I passed Wet Dog Tavern on the way to dinner the other night and told my husband we should stop by after for a drink and see what the vibe was like. It is a small tavern, but definitely has a cool converted industrial building atmosphere. The outdoor patio provides for additional space to hang out and play corn hole or watch sports on there large wall projection. It was chilly that night and they did have several gas heat lamps going, which you could see groups of folks huddled around. I like the wrap around bar setup, as it allows the bartenders to serve both inside and outside guests simultaneously. The beer selection was pretty good. If you like IPAs, then you will like their beer selection more than I did, but I did try a cider and my husband ordered a stout...both were in cans. We generally prefer darker beer, such as ambers, porters and stouts; though I do also dabble in ciders and sours. The large canvas outside was the highlight for me. I loved the ode to Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam," from a canine perspective. Just awesome. All in all, we had fun; so if you are looking for a nice little meet up spot for friends with or without dogs, this is a great option. Thanks for a good experience!

Simple, unpretentious hangout. Popular IPA options on tap, full-service bar, and a very large list of bottled and canned options. Large, as in two columns that stretch from ceiling to counter. If you like beer Wet Dog certainly has something you like.A decent amount of seating inside and a nice private patio out back with bar service at both. Service was fast and friendly. Bring your dog and have a beer!

The place is chill and they have a big screen TV for sports. Drinks are kind of pricey though.

Was excited to come here when visiting DC. We had our pup with us so I googled pet friendly restaurants in DC. This place popped up and looked cute . Disappointed that they don’t sell food even though it’s displayed on their website and instagram page. Ended up having one drink and left.

Best bar to take your dog. Just wish they wouldn't be so strict about closing the front gate, otherwise we'd be there more often with our dog.
