Great experience! The back deck is beautiful and service was excellent. Great Non Alcoholic options, the ahi tuna was exceptional. Be warned, ask about the portion sizes before ordering! The mahi sandwich could serve a couple people. 10/10

Wheelhouse Bar & Grill is a good place to have a sandwich or dinner while sitting on a deck by the canal. I had a chicken caprese sandwich with a Caesar salad which was tasty, and my husband enjoyed a salmon BLT and salad. Service was average.

Absolutely terrific! The foid and wine were both amazing as well as the service. The atmosphere was lovely. Full crowd but not too loud. Looking forward to another trip there. I wished the customers dressed as nice as the food.

This was a horrible experience and meal. Service was sub par. Waitress was slow and forgetful. Had to ask multiple times for lemons and cocktail sauce. Food was really bad. Crab cake melt was extremely dry. All food arrived cold. I paid 3 dollars extra for the “fresh vegetable” side. It was canned corn. I will not ever return to this restaurant. It might be a good place for drinks but definitely not dinner. Worst meal I have had in a long time.

Was skeptical to try this place based upon some bad reviews, but took a shot later at night when the place was mostly empty. The service was fast and the food was very good. The shrimp dishes were fresh and well rounded. Above average caesar salad. Great atmosphere and setup they have outside on the patio. Overall, I would definitely like to go back!
It was nice to sit outside along the canal. Great service and good food. I was disappointed with the crab bisque, it was more like a watery, cream soup than a bisque. Chesapeak Crap Dip was worth it as was my catch of the day, Salmon.

We live in Lewes and have been here many times and typically love it however we will not be back after our experience last Friday 9/5. Whatever woman was working outside bar should not be in customer service. This was the most unfriendly nasty attitude I have ever encountered while going out to eat. My father asked for a BLT , there is a salmon blt and a blt salad on the menu however they would not make the BLT because “if we did it for you we would have to do it for everybody.” the communication was terrible we sat there and waited while the GM and bartender exchanged glances and tried to decide what to do about the BLT , completely ignored my father as he was trying to get clarification (he is hard of hearing) . Awkward and uncomfortable felt unwelcome from the moment we sat down. The worst service all around on both front end and management side. We paid our bill and left for Irish Eyes who happily accommodated for a regular blt sandwich.

While our server was delightful, my entree was anything but. I had the seafood pot pie, which looked good as it was served, but under the puff pastry was gooey pastry covering tasteless, overdone vegetables with minimal seafood that tasted like it had been cooking in a pot for three days.
