I really want to line this restaurant. The nostalgia behind the name and years of good food and great ice cream. After changing ownership years ago, things seem a little off. It becomes hit or miss. I had a delicious BLT but it came with cole slaw that tastes like a chemical.Thankfully the ice cream is still a standout.The wait staff provide service with a smile.I hope the chain survives - I see many closed locations which makes me upset but I can kind of understand why.
Food wasn't that good. Pastrami melt was watery and soggy. Had no taste. Service was standard. We had a large group and had to get them to correct our check twice. I would think you'd know your menu by now and which meals came with desserts...
Friendly's is great. Good family eatery. We take our kids here all the time.
