Overpriced for the quality and taste. Wanted to give them a try and was hoping for a new regular spot to order from, but unfortunately was left disappointed. The food isn’t bad but it’s not amazing and also quite small portions. For the high prices charged it definitely doesn’t feel worth it. Additionally I’d highly recommend NOT ordering any sort of chip and sauce from them I paid almost $8 for the chips and salsa, which ended up being about a handful of chips and a quarter cup of salsa. Total rip-off.

I would love to tell you how they are, but I can't. I tried going several times and they were closed because they were only open on weekends. I was finally able to go on a weekend and called...the message said they are closed until next year. I don't get it...the other restaurants were fighting to survive with outdoor dining and I couldn't give them business if I wanted to. Disappointing since the one takeout taco seemed to be promising.

I left the trolley oyster square house next door to this establishment which I frequent, but I wasn't craving seafood this night so I went next door and stopped by here on a Sat night. I had to be placed on a list for like 40mins but broooooooo they had $2.00 tacos on sat and their house margs were $6.00. I tried other margaritas but this was the top of the cake. Their server and bartender were beyond nice and helpful and treated us extremely nice in going over the menu even though everything was super cheap. It was a nice crowd in the back patio and my boyfriend will now not shut up about going back. Today is Thursday (they're closed) and he thought we could go back for $2.00 tacos so here I am yelping on a Thursday where he can go get tacos because I didn't want to cook. Will most likely be back Saturday Haha. That's how bomb it was.

I visited BarRoja on Friday the 24th with two female friends. My friends and I are Black. My friends had arrived before I did and had ordered food and drinks. They seemed very happy with their service. We were having a good time and some other friends of ours were going to join us for dinner. The two male friends were also Black. Upon arrival, they were carded at the door. Neither my friends or I had been carded prior to entry. There was also an underaged child sitting at a t

LOVE COMING HERE. The vibe is great, the Brussel sprouts are top 5, margaritas are solid and their staff is nice! The only thing that's basic to me is the tortillas.

Great bar with plenty of COVID19 friendly seating. The bar is fun and upscale!

I visited the place just for the second time since its opening. The rice bowl I had the first time was delicious. My son in law was in town didn't feel like cooking so out we go. Well let's start with the chicken wings (spicy of course) The best wings that I have had in a very long time. Super crisp on the outside and tender chicken on the inside. I ordered the tuna rice bowl and the photo says it all. Just go!!!

Simple ingredients make great food. Blistered brussel sprouts and tacos offered in lettuce as well as corn or flour tortillas. Priceless.

Tried Bar Roja with some friends on Friday night. $62 plus tip for two of us and we were full! Each of us had a margarita type drink (I don't remember the drink names), three tacos, street corn, rice, and fundido. Everything was delicious! Food comes out tapas style, so order a food mix so that you're not waiting.
