Such a cute little place with honestly some of the best sweets I've ever had. We got chocolate cupcakes, one of each available cookie and an apple turnover. The cupcakes are like clouds and the frosting is perfectly sweet. The turnover was soooo flakey and the filling was perfect. And the cookies were golden brown and just a little gooey inside. Sooooo good. Absolutely going back. My one piece of advice to anyone going, GET MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED. You'll thank me later.

I stopped by bread & buttercream for a pastry on my way out of delaware and i’m so glad i did! It was around noon and they had already run out of chocolate croissants, but the baker heard me ask about them and offered to take a plain croissant and put chocolate in it for me. Of course I said yes and it was delicious! Thank you both for making my Sunday morning!

I love this adorable little bakery. They certainly do a lot from croissants, cookies, cakes, macaroons, and bread to tomato pie! Everything I’ve had from here has been delicious- I especially love their tomato pie and macaroons! Recently, I ordered a cake and the carrot cake with the cream cheese buttercream was so amazing I had to post this review. For me, a person who likes desserts with balance and that aren’t over the top sweet, I find their cake and icing to be perfect. Get a cake you won’t be disappointed!Adding to this review as we just celebrated another birthday with a bread and buttercream cake and this was the best one yet! My daughter loves strawberry so it was a strawberry cake with strawberry butter cream and strawberries inside and out. Absolutely delicious cake and so cute. And pink! See pics.Owners are so sweet. So thankful to have this wonderful local bakery!

I went Sunday for the first time looking for the best fresh tasting cinnamon roll. There was one roll left. Sure wish it was more. This was one of the best I've tasted! The roll was light and buttery tasting. Delightful flavor. All around deliciousness!

I shared half of my peanut butter cookie with him and told him to think of it as a bakery delight ~ "That was so good! Where's my other half?" Need I say more!?!OK, yes. I really recommend Bread & Buttercream. ??
Went for macarons and they were delicious! The breads looked delicious and I will get some at my next visit. I would highly recommend.

I am a cinamon bun snob. This is the ONLY place I've found that has the perfect cinamon buns. I got mine just out of the oven and it was heaven. If you are going to spend calories on a treat, skip the candy aisle, ice cream, and pillsbury nonsense. Bite into pure joy! ❤️And no, I wasn't paid for this review, I'm just a little effusive when I finally find someone doing it right.
