I wasn’t expecting such a delicious meal from a communal dining area, but we decided to try Connie’s chicken and waffles and boy was I blown away. The person who prepared our food was absolutely exceptional, and the food fresh and hot.
I may have just hit a weird day or maybe my order just happened to be the one that wasn’t their best, but my chicken was dry. The breading was crispy and flavorful, the meat was dry. The waffle was only cooked to a bit brown on one side and the other side was quite pale. Not sure if I just got unlucky or if their other restaurant is better quality.
Kid-friendliness: It is an indoor space for kids to be in safely. There is lots of seating for different heights and groups...
