Visiting Snuff Mill will leave you with peace of belly, cozy vibes and an overall great experience! The drinks are eclectic and delicious, well thought out. The setting is very comfortable with outdoor heaters and blankets to boot, plus impeccable service - pair all of this with incredible, locally sourced food options (details front & center) built into unique meals that change with the seasons… it’s a place I will definitely frequent!

Expectations were high going in after hearing friends' reviews. It was a little tight inside for my taste (hard to get up into the bench as a short person and no space for a purse). Apps, entrees and dessert were good - steaks were cooked perfectly. Great wine selection too.

When you taste, smell, and experience perfection… you just go with it. Chief killed it with great seafood, steaks and amazing apps! Pair it with wine from a remarkable wine list and awesome signature drinks… you have a magical evening!!!

Love this place! It’s like eating with family.. staff is amazing and management is humble and appreciative of you just giving them the opportunity to give u an amazing experience! Best steaks in Delaware

Instantly my wife’s new favorite restaurant in New Castle County, and maybe all of Delaware. The atmosphere is exceptional for a Delaware dining establishment, quaint, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and attentive, Carmen was great. Very good selection of wine and spirits and of course the food was excellent. The menu is limited but what they offer on the menu, but they appear to do what they offer really well. The Caesar salad was full of flavor and portion was ample. The Steak Frites(Hanger steak and french fries) was flavorful, juicy and seasoned and cooked perfectly.

It was phenomenal. Fabulous service from Sydney, fabulous food and drink.

From the minute you walk in the door, you are welcomed into a culinary experience that every single employee believes in and is passionate about. The staff are friendly, are happy you’re there, and they CARE about your time spent at Snuff Mill. Where else in Delaware is every aspect of the menu explained, so you feel informed and not rushed? The cocktails are strong, the wine list is well curated, and the food is off the charts. We know chef from the Whist, but he’s upped his game. We’ve never had better flavor than the streak frites, the rockfish was absolutely amazing, and coffee in bed was the perfect end to our meal. Run, don’t walk, to Snuff Mill.

For all the rules they have when you make a reservation I had higher expectations. We were very much looking forward to going there, but it ended up being a disappointment. All of our food came out cold, one of us had to send it back it was that cold. My daughter’s filet did not come out until 20 minutes after everyone’s food had come out (seems it was forgotten). My other daughters steak was good, but not hot and there was nothing fancy about the French Fries at all for the price you are paying. A friend ate there and she said they practically escorted them out the door to get the next party in. That is not an enjoyable dinner when you are being timed. They need to up their game if they are going to charge those kind of prices or they won’t service.

Seriously, get your reservation in!! Very few restaurants I can say are a hidden gem in Wilmington, but this one is. An espresso martini is usually a solid indicator of how the meal is going to be, so after the first sip I knew we were in for a feast. Our table was filled; We had the gnocchi, filet mignon, NY strip, pork chop special, Parmesan artichokes, and porkbelly bao buns. I guess my only gripe was that it was a little pricey for portion size, but really worth every penny since the flavors were on point. It was a near perfect evening.

Very disappointing for price they are charging. Everyone’s food came out cold. My daughters steak came out 30 min after everyone’s food(seems it was forgotten). Someone at the table had to send theirs back it was that cold. Nothing fancy about the French Fries for the prices they are charging. Waiter told us head chef was out upon sitting. Money for reservation takes 7 to 10 day to get it back. I had a friend that was practically rushed out the door to get the other party seated. All together it is not a good eating experience for the prices. Only thing they have going for them is quality of the meat. The rest I can get at the Road House for a lesser price.

Wow. It is so apparent that the people here are so passionate about what they do. The food was excellent-- everything was so fresh and just so flavorful! The drinks are well made (the wine selection is really good) and the ambiance is amazing (they even put out blankets for the customers in addition to the heaters outside). It is worth the drive to get here good!

Snuff Mill is one of the newer premier dining spots in the Delaware Valley. Chef Robert Lulier is a known standout and his partners Bill and Joanne bring complimentary talents that make this an exquisite experience. The atmosphere is quaint and begins outside in the lovely historic Independence Mall. Many if not all of the wines come from Swig which is operated by Joanne Govatos' husband Dave. The concept skews farm to fork with outstanding rests. The locally sourced meats and veggies are truly memorable. Chef Lulier's skilled preparation and artful presentation are delectable and delightfully pleasing to the most discerning gastronomes. Dry aged steaks, fresh seafood and irresistible deserts are the norm. A definite stop if you are in the area. Reserve early as seating is limited. Bon appetit!!

My girlfriend and I both really enjoyed our experience. Both the server and owner, Bill, are extremely accommodating! We tried a number of items on the menu and enjoyed every one. We will definitely be returning soon!

Snuff Mill is a new Butchery & Wine Bar located in Independence Mall in North Wilmington. We were excited to go. Reservations were about 4 weeks out when we made ours. We were not disappointed. The ambience of the place is really cool. Lots of soft lighting and cool artwork. The food was delicious at every stage. We had the smoked beet salad, braised pork cheeks, filet mignon, and chocolate ganache. Everything was excellent. They also have an exclusive beer from Wilmington Brew Works (an excellent local brewery) brewery just for them, as well as cocktail options, and an extensive wine list. We highly recommend it!
