Service was good and the restaurant has all the makings of a fine dining experience. The other night, however, left me disappointed. As we entered the restaurant, there was nobody at the front to greet us. We stood there for 5-10 minutes wondering if we are supposed to seat ourselves. Our server, Nick, was really a gem and made the experience much better. The food tasted good for the most part. There was just an issue with the steak. One of our steaks took 3 attempts to get the correct done-ness… at a steakhouse… By the time medium rare was achieved, the outside had bits of charcoal-like material. The wild mushroom dish was amazing.

We were a party of 12 celebrating a birthday and only 5 of us got our steaks cooked right. We sent back our food multiple times and they still couldn’t cook it right even the baked potatoes were raw. Also the meat quality was not good and steaks were served cold. Lobster tail was overcooked and rubbery. It’s disappointing for a place like this positioning itself as a high end steakhouse for the food to come out the way it did. Don’t waste your money go to Fogo or any other Brazilian steakhouse and the food will be much tastier, higher quality and probably cheaper too.

Everything was amazing. Taylor was very attentive. Food was excellent. Crab cake app came out cold but Taylor came by to check on it too late so I didn't say anything. Cheesesteak egg rolls were the best we ever had. The Wellington bites were amazing as well. My wife's lamb chops were perfect and she also loved the asparagus. The blueberry lemon martini was tasty as well as my Pinot noir from Oregon.

Sullivans was the perfect place for our small wedding reception! We had many compliments about the food, and the portions were generous. Some guests were impressed at the range and depth of flavors, including asian fusion, offered by a single restaurant. The crab cakes were especially popular.Brittany was a very knowledgable and responsive event coordinator, and made planning and picking the menu stress-free for us. Costs were entirely upfront and worth it. Our reception coordinator Lisha was extremely warm and friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. The room decor was sophisticated and sound level good for conversation. Everyone had a great time thanks to all of the hard work by Sullivans staff!

It was my birthday so I wanted to go out for a filet...Sullivan's used to be my favorite place for that..but it's been a long time since I've been there..and it will be my last..we had a party of 8...everyone got a filet.and only 3 of us had it done right..5 of us had to return and do our filets over again..our salads were tiny..why even bother..desserts were ok...our bill was over a thousand dollars.....and none of us enjoyed our food..thank goodness we all enjoyed being together...our kids and their spouses..

I want to thank the owner and staff members for making my anniversary special. My waiter was fantastic and a master of his craft, taking every opportunity to make it a memorable day. With the rose petals and messages it was definitely a romatic evening! The food was exceptional! I especially enjoyed the oystered Rockefeller with the savory bits of ham and melted cheese. I had the chef’s special with filet mignon, scallops, asparagus, and roasted garlic, which was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked.I look forward to coming to this restaurant again.

While dining at what is purported to be an upscale restaurant, I find myself observing a rather peculiar scene. A woman, presumably an employee, is engaged in a boisterous conversation with the bartenders, discussing the book she is currently reading and other unrelated topics. Her lively demeanor, laced with profanities, stands in stark contrast to the refined atmosphere one would expect at Sullivan's. As she indulges in her second Martini and a Margarita, her voice grows increasingly loud, much to the chagrin of those seeking a more subdued dining experience. It appears that the staff is well-acquainted with her, yet her behavior remains unbecoming of an establishment of this caliber.

I've been to this steakhouse several times and usually everything this top notch. However this past trip was far from it.Apart from a missing hostess when we arrived when we were finally set, the table did not have the right number of chairs even though we had made reservations. We then had to wait over 10 minutes just to get water at the table. Then our waiter didn't come for another 20 to 30 minutes. And appetizers took an unusually long time to arrive. While the food was good, the service was off. This time. It did get better what amounted to the first hour was a very slow slog.

The ambience was great. The service and food were poor. We waited 35 mins for a cold chicken Caesar salad and an undercooked filet mignon. The server totally forgot our cocktail and gave us a dessert for free, which was a very cold crème brûlée with a bunt top.

I want to thank the owner and staff for an excellent experience during my anniversary. The waiter was a master at his craft, never missing a beat to make our experience exceptional. He set the scene with rose petals and thoughtful messages, which made it romantic. I can't say enough about the food. It is well seasoned and cooked to perfection with an inviting presentation. A standout favorite for me was the oyster Rockefeller, which were heightened with the addition of savory bits of ham and melted cheese. I left satisfied and longing to find another opportunity to come again. Truly a wonder fine dining experience.

My friend and I visited this restaurant for dinner. Great staff at the entrance and overall atmosphere experience for a good steakhouse setting. Recommend the booth for a great view of the dining room.We ordered their cocktails of the Old fashioned and Mule. My drink was good, but my friend's old fashion cocktail was not made correctly. They did make another Old fashion that was made correctly this time. The beef wellington bites for their appetizer was good. Definitely recommend that appetizer. We both ordered the ribeye with garlic shrimp. Our temperatures were off, considering we did order medium but got medium well instead. The lobster Mac and Cheese for the side was also a good dish.Decent steakhouse in the Wilmington area. Not the best but try it out at least.

We had 1 cocktail ? a piece 2 steaks that was $76 a piece , lobster mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts. Our dinner came up to $285 for a dinner for 2. Sullivan's is over priced. Outback, Longhorn or Texas would have been just as good at a cheaper price.
