“Absolutely my favorite place to bring anyone I am hoping to impress. Cocktails are amazing and adventurous. The scent pairings elevate the whole experience. The staff and owners are the best. 10/10”
“My wife and I enjoyed our 2nd date in awhile here! The experience was exceptional. Every single staff member greeted us and welcomed us on our walk to our table. Salah and Drew took care of our food, wine and water and they made it a special experience for us. It’s a very positive atmosphere with amazing views of Detroit, Window and the rivers. You can truly see the whole city and beyond. Parking is easy, and they validate it for you. Not only do we recommend going here, but we will definitely be back again ourselves someday. The food is unique and fantastic! Probably more than I expected, the portions were appropriate and by the end of the 3 courses, I felt like I had eaten well, but not too much. Sometimes fine dining leaves you hungry, but not here. You will leave happy and feeling like you are some great food that was prepared with a lot of care. Thank you Highlands team for a great experience and all the effort you put in to make this an iconic Detroit experience!”
“Having been to Le Supréme multiple times in the last month (I've now had; brunch, and dinner service) I can say it's easily one of my favorite spots. My first time walking in the space I was amazed at all the attention to detail. It's an impeccably Parisian bistro with dark hardwood, and cosy booths. Servers float through the dining room in white shirts and ties, they're friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The food leaves nothing lacking, from perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise at brunch to the punchy yet creamy Filet au Poivre. Something as simple and classic as Bistro-fare isn't as simple to execute so perfectly each time and yet here we are. For those looking for a real showstopper do not miss the seafood tower! With food like this, and a really well curated wine glass and bottle list, I'm going to be coming back as often as I can!”
“I stopped in to try the Woodward and the Farnsworth Funghi. I was able to split the pizza and do just that! The cashier was great! This pizza is delicious!!! I stopped in at lunchtime, so it was a 45 minute wait- and totally worth it!! It's a casual spot with many options & many customers. There's a small lot and street parking.”
“Outstanding food, great service, extremely cozy (maybe 2 dozen seats?). Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.”

“Server Chad was great. They need a broiler so they can do blue cheese over their steaks. Steaks quite overpriced. Wine list and liquor selection were exceptional. Very cool vibe, it’s like you’re in an underground wine library. Multiple mistakes with our orders but we were comped and the experience overall was great enough for me to go back and give them another try.”
“A wonderful taste of Italy! From the drinks, to the appetizers and the main course everything was wonderful! The food taste wonderful and the presentation was spot on. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will be back!”

“We just stopped in for a cocktail before dinner, so I didn't eat here but the food looked and sounded amazing. The drinks were really great and the service was fantastic at the bar. It's a nice spot to grab a drink or two, but I'd love to go back again for dinner. The place is really chill and relaxed, but feels upscale in a good way. The staff is really friendly.”

“We had an excellent dinner here while in town for work. The service was very good. Our server, Mark, took great care of us. Drinks and the meal were delicious. The gnocchi was my favorite, but every dish was cooked and presented well. The 4 stars for atmosphere was simply because the music was too loud. It was very difficult to converse without yelling.”

“This is an extraordinary place to try a 5 course menu. I was very full qt the end but it was worth it.The place also looks fancy with a city twist and I love itThe bone marrow dish was a little too fatty for my taste, but the duck was my favorite”

“This is a great place for singles, couples/small groups for nice drinks, intimate atmosphere with great local entertainment..it's simply DETROITParking: Arrive for your reservation early, parking is scarce due to Wayne State traffic.”
“Great little menu! The drinks are well made and the mystery drink and meat are creative and interesting. Worth a stop. Very popular, so not so great a place if you are in a hurry to eat but if you are looking for somewhere interesting to take friends for a drink and unusual American pub food in Detroit, Green Dot is awesome.”
“My first time experiencing this restaurant. Exceeded my expectations. Good was very tasty. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap with sweet potato chips. Everything was packaged well and good customer service.”
“Service and ambiance were first class. Caesar salad prepared table side and Parmesan Mushroom Risotto were exceptional. Both Steaks was very salty and a little tough for a ribeye prepared medium. One steak was sent back because it was closer to well done after sitting on the hot plate. Will try again in the future and ask for light seasoning and for them to leave my steak unsliced to avoid it over cooking the interior on the hot plate its served on.”
“Absolutely The best staff an subs... as well as their multiple pasta, macaroni, potato, antipasto salads. Everything from the meats... cheeses.. breads are always fresh... they offer differentt sized meat an cheese layered sus. ?”
“It's a Detroit thang. Pork hotdogs that u can add chili onions cheese. I had the loose meat burger (chili in a hotdog bun)..chili not hearty..very soft like..cooked for sometime. Place had nostalgia the older end of business (the original spot) super small..motown artists would stop in back in the day. Not sure how this small vintage guy who makes the order remembers cause the waiter yells it to him..it's funny..they also have pie apple lemon meringue banana custard etc..my friend said the hotdog had snap (4 stars)..they huge on mustard too..”
“Our dinner was exceptional. From the second we sat down, I knew we were in capable hands. Our server, Melissa, was able to suggest dishes based on our preferences. Delicious. Fresh. Full of flavor and lovely presentation.”
“OMG Dave and Amelia are the best mixologist duo. Hubby and I came across Two Birds on google and were impressed with the reviews and photos. Our first visit was nothing short of amazing filled with luxurious and herbaceous cocktails. The atmosphere and vibes in Two Birds was very refreshing. Mature crowd, great music, tasty drinks. We will definitely be coming back as regulars to this establishment. Cheers and Happy Holidays!Tasha & Chad”

“Great vibe near Eastern Market. Bottles and cans from around the world, haus biers, guest taps, and a solid soundtrack. Family style seating, so prepare to make new friends at busy times. The gluhwein at holiday time is sweet and comforting. Wood definitely recommend to friends.”
“My favorite high end sub shop located downtown. They use fresh, quality ingredients and offer a unique atmosphere with style and flare. I recommend the eggplant or classic Italian but they are all quite delicious. Enjoy. Big Blue out.Parking: Parking lot is small but most people are coming and going with relative ease. That said it can and does get busy downtown so be warned.”

“What an amazing experience. Came here for a birthday dinner and was blown away.Atmosphere: A little loud but very private and tables were not too close to one another.Food: Absolutely amazing. I ordered the chef special. The Kabocha was hands down the best bite of the day. From texture to flavor to spice, nothing can compare to it. Only minor complaint was that the steak was smothered with chimichurri but again, minor negative.Parking: Street parking which was a little shady but car was still there when we left.Price: Nothing is cheap these days. More than I would like to spend but for a special occasion, it was worth it.Service: Best part of the whole experience. Everyone was very attentive and knowledgeable with details about the menu.Overall, 5 ⭐”
“A very unique dining experience from start to finish! The cocktails are imaginative, the food is delicious and the space is super cool. I will definitely be back for more!”
“Great wine selection and exceptional food! Menu changes often but on my first visit almost all the dishes on the menu were gluten free. I don't think you can overstate how good the food is. Also try the Serbian skin contact wines. Very good.Dietary restrictions: Almost every dish on the menu was gluten free. The menu does change often but both the wait staff and the chef were very knowledgeable about which dishes were gluten free.”
“Great place for our brunch. Drinks were very good and so was the food. We had a 3 year old with us and the menu had some tasty things for her, she really enjoyed it!”
“Awesome experience celebrating an anniversary. Marrow made us feel special & welcome. The food was delectable & the staff were all so kind & genuinely seemed like they enjoyed working there which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back to try some beef tartar & bone marrow next time! Highly recommend the chef’s tasting menu!!!”
“One of the greatest restaurants I’ve been to in my 36 years on this earth! I’ve been 4 times already since last summer finding this place. An exceptional dining experience, intimate, fun, beautiful plating and some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, and I am a picky eater…I clean my plate every time!Definitely an experience you deserve to treat yourself to!”
“Best Italian food I’ve had in a while! Serving is great and super friendly. Food kept topping one over the other. Make sure to have space for their delicious dessert. Food is Cooked to perfection , 100% recommend to make a reservation as they are super packed.”
“Everything about San Morello was perfect. The staff, ambiance, and food are all top tier. Recommend a reservation as it can get quite busy on weekends. With there was a few more vegetarian ”
“Such friendly bartenders, delicious food, and great drinks! Just popped in for a drink during happy hour and ended up staying for dinner and deciding to host our event there.”
“Walked in for lunch & had an amazing experience.Food was so delicious and hotMy waitress Samantha was so sweet & helpful with the menu I’ll definitely be back.”
“I went here with some friends for dinner and drinks. The place is kind of small but also very cute and open. The kitchen is open is an open concept, so you can see what the chef's are up to and see them make pasta as well. We sat at the bar, and the service and drinks were great! The food was so tasty and fresh. The linguine al granchio has a nice light lemon taste to it , while the Tarre al Tartufo is a light but savory truffle taste. I highly recommend both, as well as the fish, which was very fresh!!”
“We had a great time! Place was busy with a cool vibe. Salsas were simply delicious. Tacos similarly excellent, wonderful flavors. And our server was engaging and efficient. Highly recommended.”
“They had two N/A cocktails, one N/A beer, and several sparkling water options! I would recommend the High Vibrations N/A cocktail, very gingery and great for sipping while still being delicious. The Phone Negroni is a bottle N/A cocktail that I've seen at other places, it is tasty, but you're missing out a bit on the cocktail-being-made-in-front-of-you experience. Thanks for having great N/A options!”
“The only restaurant that I truly enjoy in Michigan. yes, I said the entire state of Michigan'. I would put the flavors, the craft cocktails and the service against any five star restaurant. I have tried everything that's not beef or pork on the menu.. because I just don't eat it, the damn Red Snapper would make you wanna kiss you're mama and every damn person in your family.. needless to say they took it off the menu and replaced it with a steamed fish that was damn near raw when it got to my table.. I'm so damn disappointed.. don't fix it if it's not broken!!!! Said customer. Thank goodness they didn't take off the coconut apps.. those are slamming too.. chef please bring back the Fried Red Snapper..”

“Hollywood casino/hotel offers the best downtown Detroit experience. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location near outdoor events, restaurants and a few shopping outlets. Hollywood casino/hotel rooms are modern, sanitized and comfortable and the staff is very professional.”
“We had a gift card from the Detroit Redwings that we had to use, and we are so glad that they threw in the gift card. I had the 10 oz steak and it was incredible but the dessert was my favorite. We ordered something called The Game and it was incredible. I highly recommended this place.”
“Not a bad little coney. I stopped in for breakfast to-go: eggs, hash browns, and sausage, and it was good. To be honest, it's not the best I've ever had, but for the price, it's amazing. Staff I encountered was friendly and polite. Will definitely be eating here on the regular.”
“My Uncle enjoys their food. He's been a little under the weather, so I stopped in to get his favorite, chicken soup. Thank you for making him feel a little ”
“Came for the tacos, stayed for the sick beats. Taco Tuesday is like church for me and my boys. No cap at all. My equilibrium goes haywire anytime I take a week off. Everything I'm telling you is real af. Theres no judgement once you enter the alley deck. All are welcome to boogie down til the DJ cuts the beat. The bartenders are always sweethearts and the dude that cooks the tacos deserves a Michelin award. Top tier if you ask me and my crew. The salsa always slaps and the shrimp tacos make me feel like I'm on a Florida beach kicking back with a cold corona and a sweet babe beside me, she's also enjoying a shrimp taco. I could go all day about how magical this place is, but I'm at the Secretary of State right now and they are about to call my number next. DM me for more info, phones always on. Later dudes!”

“It's a food court, not a restaurant. I had the national Coney Island Coney dog with fries. It was pretty good. Every time I want to get wings that place is closed.”
“Just got an inexpensive breakfast this morning. It was great! Good portion, very well cooked and was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The price was great too. They are priced less than most places with a less quality product. Great Experience.”
“One of the best Coneys in the west. I always recommend my friends and family here. The staff is pretty cool, but you'll come back for the chili cheese fries, which are my favorite.”
“Ordered the 16 piece wing-dings over the phone and when I got there about 10 minutes later they were already ready and waiting for me check how process was easy and smooth. Food was hot and delicious. My husband and I used to go there all the time when we were kids and get food and he still recommends it to this day.”
“The best place ever, stopped by for a late night snack after an event and GENE’s team did an amazing job with my requests! so yummy love the impossible sliders no cheese carmelized onions + extra pickles and mustard omg so delicious i love this white castle i wish yall had vegan cheese + a dairy free shake bc im allergic to dairy but i appreciate what we have so far ? ?”
“One of the best Coney's. Clean. Always open. Fast. GREAT AFFORDABLE SPECIALS daily. Last place in the city with a good breakfast special and $4.99 is a 2002 price so I appreciate that a lot ?? Downside, you gotta pay for your order over the phone to be able to call it in. And they don't allow you to tip the servers and women that take your order if you pay with credit card. Unfair to those working not to set it up to accept and pay those tips, don't be that cheap Joseph's! But food and service always reliable and solid”

“Benny’s toro hand roll was FANTASTIC. And the Strawberry shortcake was a piece of heaven. Had to start the review with that lol. The fish is high quality, the rolls were really good. The only thing that was disappointing was the spicy edamame. It needed seasoning. But everything else was so good I can’t dock any stars. The ambience is really good. I liked the decor. Service was great.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian selection and dedicated menu section”

“Reeeeally good food. I really needed a pick-me-up and I found what I was looking for. A lot of menu options to choose from. Highly recommend the mixed fruit drink! 1000% will be returning. Also a cute park is out in front if you just want to enjoy the day with some ice cream.Parking: There's a good section of parking behind the building if the street parking is full”
“The best Parisian baked goods are here! A feast for the eyes and taste buds. I think the chocolate raspberry croissant is even better than in Paris...refused to choose just one pastry!”
“duly's is a nice restaurant if you're a chilli dog fan !! they have the best chilli dogs in Southwest if you ask me. Older people work here so the service is around medium but they don't take very long and their manners make up for it. not enough sitting space though, so I wouldn't invite a whole family or whatnot, dulys is small on the inside as well. but overall it is a fantastic place to eatParking: I'll say there's 10 parking spots in the lot across from dulys, there should be a taco truck in it as well, that's where me and my family usually park at when eating at dulys, you would just have to cross the street of course. and if you're lucky usually around the morning time dulys street parking isn't that bad so you can park closer !!Kid-friendliness: they're really nice with kids, I've seen a lot of youth dine in at dulys, and the employees love kids !!.Wheelchair accessibility: for dulys it's already on a flat area no stairs no catch, so if you're in a wheelchair or whatnot don't worry you can roll right in here with no problem”
“Jordan was our bartender last night and he was amazing! Being short staffed and very busy, he still took excellent care of us and the drinks were delightful. Thank you!”
“It's always a different experience when I visit the Shipping Company. There was a live DJ and comedy show going on this time. My husband and I checked it out on St. Patty Day.”

“After indulging in a delightful Mexican feast, our cravings for something sweet led us to Momento, a charming spot that exceeded our dessert expectations. Nestled snugly amidst the vibrant streets, this cozy establishment proved to be a haven for those with a sweet tooth.Opting for a chocolate muffin paired with a steaming cup of hot chocolate, I found myself in dessert heaven, while my companion savored the creamy delight of gelato. The interior boasted comfortable seating, with an added touch of elegance in the glass-enclosed area overlooking the alley, complete with inviting lounge chairs. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness and warmth made our visit all the more memorable. While parking presented a slight challenge, the convenience of a new parking deck within walking distance alleviated any concerns. Moreover, the surrounding area, located in the burgeoning Corktown neighborhood, exuded a sense of safety and promise, further enhancing our enjoyment. In conclusion, whether you're in the mood for a leisurely coffee, a comforting hot chocolate, or a refreshing gelato, Momento offers an array of delectable treats to satisfy every palate. Whether enjoyed in the cozy confines of the café or taken on the go, a visit to Momento is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended for those seeking a sweet escape in Corktown's burgeoning culinary scene!”
“Omg this place is life customer service was impeccable. The atmosphere is lovely, comfortable and inviting with a laid-back feel. Most definitely go and visit. The only thing I would say is parking is awful because of its location. Definitely is a hidden gem in the Detroit area. Go and visit coffee was delicious and also was the Old fashioned ?”
“Pizza Crawl 2024 Stop #4For our 10-year anniversary we are stopping in Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and New Haven, CTThis is one of the pizza places I have been most excited to try as I love Detroit style pizza. There is not a lot of sauce, but the sauce that is there is good. I did not love the Parmesan in the crust. Overall it was very good!Vibe is what you’d expect of a pizza parlor and the service is decent!”
“I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this not-so-hidden jewel, which is only minutes away from my home. My husband and I ditched our normal Saturday brunch to drop in on Detroit Sip. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Detroit Sip's vibe is like a warm, neighborly hug. The decor is whimsical and inviting. My caramel latte and cheese Danish were very goodMy husband also enjoyed his dark roast and muffin. We'll be back, in fact I tried to return the following Tuesday morning. Guess I should have paid attention to the hours listed.”
“Great food, great drinks, great service, great people. Cannot say enough positive things about Batch. I bring my 2yo and 6mo old and everything is seamless. Love the atmosphere and the experience!”
“The food was AMAZING!! It was our first time in downtown Detroit and was recommended by a couple of workers where we were shopping! Those garlic knots are super yummy! Pizza to die for! Best Bacardi and diet I’ve ever gotten from a bar!! Our waitress was super nice and very attentive and our food came out quickly!! Will definitely be back!!”

“Don't like any one asking me for tip and changing me for wrong order if you do a good job a tip is automatic ??. They left my pizza calzone off the order but quickly delivered it to me.”
“All my detroiters let me give you the lowdown on Nicky D’S on Grand River, the best food coming from a Coney Island , go by try it you will have a new place to eat at and NEVER DISSAPPOINTED. “The food was so good my first time trying chicken is bomb the young lady who took the order was kinda rushing and you could barely get out what you want because she rushes you so the service to me wasn't great but the chicken is sooo good i will be back for the food but i hope the service is a little better.”
“A must stop if your in the area. Their cornbeef and pastrami are some of the best I've ever had. The portion sizes are decent and the staff has always been friendly!”

“11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday and the parking lot (front & side, at least) are full but the overflow has space. All the look of a 50's style diner, right down to the music which was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to talk (i.e., perfect volume). OK, the ladies aren't wearing poodle skirts but they were a bit sexist. The server greeted me quickly but seemed a bit overwhelmed as she was the only one working the floor at the time. Understandable considering the number of diners to deal with at the time. She was pleasant despite the workload and checked in several times after my meal arrived. All the accouterments one expects at a diner right down to the creamer and jam.Menu is pretty broad, especially where sandwiches are concerned. Fish sandwiches, gyros, burgers, hot dogs (Coney, plain, etc.), melts. A fairly substantial breakfast section and salads & soups round it out well.I went with the Classic burger & fries. The burger is huge & the amount of fries is substantial. I ordered the burger medium but it came medium-well. It wasn't juicy like it should've been but was flavorful still.Next time I'll sit at the counter (missed that on the way in). There's a drive-thru in case you want to "grab and go", too.An FYI: if you pay by plastic, you will pay the credit card charge. I don't mind, but I was unaware.I'd definitely return.Parking: Parking near building is tight, about 12 spaces, but there is overflow.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner, it's friendly to the wee onesWheelchair accessibility: The doors are sensor activated & wide. There's ample room for maneuvering inside, too. Sidewalk around seems a bit narrow (but I'm not in a chair)”
“We drove past another BK to come to this one, because of the reviews of friendly service and quality food. We weren't disappointed! Even though we had issues with our gift card, the woman behind the register was patient, and helpful. Food was good, hashrounds and coffee were hot, sandwiches were well put together. Only lost a star because the doctor Pepper button was broken on the self-serve soda machine and my sandwich was luke-warm (still tasty, just not hot).”
“They are available on ubereats and door dash for delivery...All else checks out good and CHILI CHZ FRIES ARE THE BEST EVER..friendly service ?Kid-friendliness: This isn't a good place to dine in if you have kids...super small..only 3 tables.. I think intended for waiting on food or pick up...no high chairs available either but still my fav coney in the D”
“Local Burger King located in the Southwest Detroit community also known as Mexican town with all of the standard Burger King fare the food is usually fresh and fast.and they have new menu items. AND they brought back cheesy tots..”
“Very clean in here. Customer service was on point. The food was hot. The wait was not long. I purchased the chicken fajita sub. It was mouth watering. I totally recommend this location. The Harper Location.”
“I stopped in while visiting from Ohio to eat here today and had an opportunity to meet the current GM Tra. This location was clean and bright. The employees were friendly and fast. Great experience here and the food was awesome! Try the Chicken Pot Pie soup! It was delicious! I will definitely come back again.”

“They have the best fish and chips here! It’s a hole in the wall cash only business but the food is always amazing. Came in on a Friday night during Lent so it was packed but didn’t have to wait long for a table. Had the half order fish and chips and subbed the fries for a baked potato. Service was great. Definitely recommend eating here.”

“I don’t think there are many places in America that can do steaks this consistently perfect. The attention to detail in the food, the attentiveness of the wait staff, and the all around atmosphere here is always the best. While not a “regular” diner I usually end up eating here a few times a year and my expectations are not only met, but exceeded every time. I always look forward to coming here to enjoy amazing food and a nice night out. There is nothing in the menu here that is not absolutely deliciousDietary restrictions: Before taking orders the waiters and waitresses will always ask if anyone has a food allergy preemptively to take all party members into consideration that may have allergies”
“Cannot recommend this place enough! We ended up here on a Saturday night for dinner without a reservation and ended up being seated right away and our server was absolutely wonderful. Our food ended up being the best dinner we've had in SO long! Phenomenal dinner experience!”
“The Whitney is THE place to go for great food and atmosphere. It's an experience whether eating outside in the garden, inside or just drinks at the Ghost Bar.”
“Tomasita, was phenomenal and very attentive. Food and atmosphere were great. The appetizers, dinner and dessert were fantastic. Tomasita, recommendations and attentiveness up our table was top notch!”
“The crowd is nice on Thursday- Sundays , security plenty of parking and nice birthday party events. The drinks are reasonable and the waitresses be on their job. Like a cheers atmosphere you wanna go where everyone knows your name. Ms Krystal is sweet and loving and people be dressed to impress there. TV's seating 💺 ♥️ people call it a "hole in the wall" but those same people be in attendance "lol They come from all over the city to this place you must get there early on Sunday nights cause DJ Tony Rome be on hot blazing 🔥 fire. Dance, entertainment etc. Everytime my out of town guest / sweetheart comes to visit Detroit she has to come there before she leaves its a must.”
“Joe Muer never disappoints! I must say that Calvin, our server, made it extra special last night. It was my son's 12th birthday and Joe Muer is his favorite restaurant, and Calvin went out of his way to make it so special for him. He ensured our meals did not have alcohol or meats we didn't eat. His awareness of our religious restrictions were much appreciated. He was tentative but did not hover; he and the team put together a beautiful dessert platter with candles to top our magnificent evening. He was delightful and kind. Thank you for a memorable evening.”
“Parking: Both the valet and the self parking are a good ways from the restaurants. Save your money and self park. After dinner you’ll need to walk off the full tummy anyway.”
“Great food, great drinks, great service, great people. Cannot say enough positive things about Batch. I bring my 2yo and 6mo old and everything is seamless. Love the atmosphere and the experience!”
“Such friendly bartenders, delicious food, and great drinks! Just popped in for a drink during happy hour and ended up staying for dinner and deciding to host our event there.”
“I mean, what is there left to add about this place? The pizza is freaking awesome. It doesn’t really matter what I’ve gone with; it’s all been outstanding.Definitely one of the top places that should come to your mind anytime you have a pizza craving in the area. They also have beef pepperoni as an option, which I find to be a nice touch.”

“Never missed a St. Patty's Day Celebration yet. Going on 20 years. On the Historic Registry. Live music on the weekends. Friendly people all around. Every now and then, you'll see the original owner Nancy having a drink with old friends. Great history, great city and sports.Parking: Now owned by Steven's Family and doing a great job.”
“I never write reviews but I thought this place deserved one. Flavors are impressive for being made in such a small space. Shiv is the nicest guy ever and so passionate about his food. first meal in Detroit on business trip, set a high standard!”
“We were starving and looking for some food at 11:30pm and stumbled upon this place which was open till 12am. We were warmly greeted. It was AMAZING! We ordered the Cherry Cherve burgers with fries and the hot honey BBQ chicken legs. I inquired about gluten free and ordered mine w a gluten free bun which added a few minutes on to the cooking. The food was all amazing! The gluten free bun was wonderful and the burgers were delicious and cooked to perfection! The fries were delicious and seasoned so well. They were not too skinny or too fat; they were just perfect. The ketchup was a smaller plastic squeeze bottle which worked well. I am not a fan of the glass bottles where the ketchup doesn't come out. It's the little things. The legs were yummy. The food was very fresh, cooked well and served piping hot, which in and of itself is amazing late at night 30 minutes before closing. The bartender recommended a pain killer cocktail and it was amazing too!! My husband ordered a 51K beer and said it was an outstanding IPA. And he knows his beer. This place is a hidden gem. Great service, amazing food and cool ambiance. I used the restroom and it was attractively decorated and sparkling clean. We will be back for sure!”
“What a pleasant surprise it was to find this place! We weren't planning and stopped by chance. The best hamburger and the BEST FRIES we’ve ever eaten! We are Brazilians, we were very well received. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. WE LOVE IT! Food, nice people, amazing decor, cool music and wonderful atmosphere! We already have a favorite place in Detroit! To all Nemo’s team, THANK YOU! We loved it!”
“This place is a gem. Family owned establishment. Detroit's oldest bar. Always a good time. Stop by and learn the incredible history of the place and of the neighborhood or maybe run into friends. Check it out on a Wednesday when Mary is cooking up something delicious. Check your wallet, do a head count and RING THE BELL”
“What a good place this is, a gem of a restaurant that I recommend to everyone. The tacos de Cabeza are delicious and not to mention their ceviche. I live in Columbus, Ohio and it is worth driving 3 hours to visit this restaurant with very good food.”
“First time visiting, surely not the last. I love the restaurant’s aesthetic, such a comfy but classy establishment. The food is delightful and the service was a 10. I will definitely recommend this place to my foodie friends and family.”
“The absolute best pizza place in michigan — easy to say when the service & the quality of the food is top notch!!! I can’t say more than enough good things about the service here & if you want incredible pizza, go here!! Eat it fresh! The Detroit style pizza is a game changer.”
“This place has an amazing location, ambiance, staff and the food is superb! Very fresh and nice portions and presentation. I had the spicy tofu, hubby had the Downtown Club, and we shared the very berry French toast; which was beyond decadent! You MUST try this place! They also have locations in Troy and Northville! Bon Appetit?”
“I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!”
“This place is absolutely amazing! The most authentic Greek food in Detroit. The Gyros are soooo good and packed with meat for the price. Next, the fries are the best. Hand cut and seasoned to perfection. There is a nice selection of soda fountain drinks, but try the Freddo coffee it's so good. The donuts are little pieces of heaven. Staff is super friendly and service is fast. I love this place!Parking: Parking across the street.”
“such a fun experience!! definitely recommend for anyone that likes to drink, be with friends, and pedal around Detroit. Omar was our driver and i would 10/10 recommend he was amazing and made the experience :)”
“I had a large order of 60 arepas for a work party. I called the day before, and they were ready when I came to pick them up and helped me put them in my car. Everyone loved the food and wanted to know where to get more. I think you will have some new customers soon! Thank you!”
“This was my go to for nearly a year and I can’t say enough good things about it, mainly the team who takes care of you every day, especially Evan! My onlyyyyy complaint is please get another milk alternative besides oat :)”
“Food was good. Sucks they are only open on weekends.Parking: They are located on a corner lot in a residential area. The street was pretty congested with other customers trying to maneuver and park.”
“Great beer selection, cool ambiance, delicious Detroit style pizza. They also offer coffee, liquor, cider, seltzer and cocktails. Ample seating with outdoor area, music and TV. Friendly service. A gem in an up-and-coming neighbourhood.”

Cork & Gabel
“UPDATE: I have been here multiple times and the place NEVER FAILS to impress. Some, if not the best drinks in Detroit. They stock hard to find bourbons and will take you on a cocktail journey with customized drinks simply based on your tastes. The food is always wonderful. If there is EVER Arctic Char on the menu...order it! I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. One of my favorites of all time!Great place with awesome staff members and phenomenal drinks. Get the Cork & Gable old fashioned...$25 but so flipping good.Sept 22- Still one of the best, if not THEE best craft cocktail places in the city. John is an F'ing wizard with spirits and one of the main reasons we come. Food is absolutely fantastic as well.”

“The dishes are well prepared. The service is top notch and the servers are so hospitable. Add in great music with beautiful mood lighting and you have an unforgettable dining experience right in the center of downtown Detroit.”
“Don't like any one asking me for tip and changing me for wrong order if you do a good job a tip is automatic ??. They left my pizza calzone off the order but quickly delivered it to me.”

“Each dish was beauifully presented and delicious. Staff was respectful of our time for dinner prior to attending a show at the Fisher Theatre. With a 5:15 reservation, we had adequate time to fully enjoy a 4-course dinner prior to the 7:30 show. Upscale Italian with a seafood lean. Classy and delicious without being pretentious.”
“Me and my son visited....When I say 10 out of ten TJ AND AR I BELIEVE THATS THEY NAMES....THE DRINKS WAS DRINKING AND THE FOOD WAS FOODING....I WAS BE BACK?????????????Kid-friendliness: My son loves they chocolate ice cream and churros”

“It was about a 40 min drive for me and it was well worth it. I'm assuming the cook is a male because that's who I see cooking food on their Instagram page. I ordered a birria crunch wrap and elote wings that surprisingly had elote corn on top of them. I want to play in that man's beard, and pray over his crown after tasting those dog on elote wAngs and corn! I was annoyed that I coulsnt call my order in because they dont accet call ins but I quickly got over it after I tasted the food. The customer service was good, the wait for the food wasn't to long , and everything was fresh and delicious.”

“Clean nice modern restaraunt. The Halabi Kofta is extremely good, I even got some to go afterwards because it’s so good. Great restaurant, try the chicken shawarma and Halabi Kofta here its worth it. Menu is 100% halal also.Dietary restrictions: The food is all Halal here”
“Have been in here a bunch of times, and I’ll be back a bunch more. Excellent vibes, excellent food, great service. Definitely my current favorite Detroit breakfast spot.”
“We decided to try Detroit deep dish pizza and we weren't disappointed. This is a must visit place if you're in Detroit for a few hours. Love the service, the atmosphere, and most of all the fantastic food!”

Mad Nice
“Excellent cute, unique place! Outstanding service and amazing food. Great menu and definitely well executed. We loved everything about the decor and the vibe! It makes you feel like you're on vacation.... either in Miami, California or even a cruise! The drink menu is unique and satisfies all sorts of different tastes. I loved the 59’ BIARRITZ ON SUNSET. If you like a little bit of a stronger drink, the MOTOWN BEETS is worth trying too!The Beef Tartare was delicious. As well as the Huge MF short rib, the Rigatoni Ragout, and the Margherita Pizza. They were all PERFECT in their own category. There were no leftovers in our party of 4... nothing to even clean off the plates. The Toasted Pistachio Caffe Latte was excellent! Also, their deserts are to die for. We had the Detroit Chocolate Cake and the Warm Apple Crostata, and even though they're big enough to share, we really didn't want to. Sorry, not sorry. LolOur waitress Carrie was OUTSTANDING! HATS OFF to her!We will definitely be back!Parking: There's plenty of paid street parking at a very decent hourly rate. If not, valet is also an option.”
“I’m so picky and maru hits every-time. Our waitress Vanessa today was adorable, ambiance is a 10/10. The sushi guys sing and bring the best vibes!! Perfect for 21+ date nightupdate 2/20 I keep coming back i’ve been here at least 12 times in the last 12 months. I have so many good thing to say about Maru and Venessa, we had here again tonight ❤️❤️— with that being said I am BEGGING the new :) chef to switch the crème brûlée from the eggnog flavor. I’ve tried the lemon and the eggnog. It’s past valentine’s day, we’re just not feeling the eggnog anymore ?? please give us the lemon back or plain!! ??”
“Having only been to this establishment twice it's a bit of a toss up.Awesome ambiance, great drinks, but so-so on the customer service front. My party was roughly nine minutes late for our reservation and upon entering the hostess had noted she was about to give us a courtesy call (which I thought was cool but perhaps a bit overkill as I had just confirmed via text that we'd be there for our reservation). Not even ten seconds after that we were informed by the same hostess there was a "15 topper" coming in after us which in turn made me feel like we needed to get our drinks and move along with haste. I don't expect a warm embrace at a bar, but having an experience as opposed to be moved like cattle is a welcome feeling.Lastly, in a weird turn of events our server was a mixed bag as our waters stayed consistently full we never received our popcorn.”
“Alpino is a very good restaurant. The chef doesn't overwhelm you with choices, but I recommend checking the menu before you go since there may not be something for you.If you haven't had the Swiss/Alpine style food before, I recommend you explore the menu, and I'm confident you won't be disappointed. It is very reasonably priced and the staff was very, very friendly and super helpful with the menu.”

“the food was pretty good but a bit pricey for the sizes you get. Some of the tapas dishes were much larger than others though. Really cool on the inside and great service!”

“This has become me and my cousins fave spot after work. The halal burger is my personal al fave (the brioche buns are chefs kiss) and the crispy fish! “At 66 I don't go out much but my nephew was celebrating his birthday and picked Detroit Blues Cafe. The place was great, security in and out, nice music, mature crowd and great staff. Kudos for creating this Detroit gem. 3rd.”
“It is a small but nice Dominican restaurant, clean, good service, good attention, good tasting food and the plate of food is enough to leave you satisfied.Come and meet him.”
“I tried the "What's the Dill" Pickle and it was great! The toppings were fresh, the pickle was crunchy and salty but the flavor didn't overpower the filling. It sat lighter in my stomach than eating a deli sandwich which makes it a perfect lunch.”
“Everything was top-notch! Service was fantastic, our table was ready exactly when expected, drinks were amazing, and the food was DELICIOUS. Not to mention the very cool atmosphere of the place. I’d definitely return!”
“Matys does is a very busy mostly takeout business. They do have tables and when we were there a few were eating in. As it was our first time we had chicken, lamb, couscous, red snapper, jollof rice and peanut soup. The red snapper is a favorite though ours was a little over cooked but I'd order it again. The lamb was grilled in pieces and me not a lamb lover liked it though it was a bit chewy. The jollof rice and chicken were fought over at our table so they liked those. This is a casual takeout place so not really for date night but I'll be back to try my faves”
“My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and it was an amazing experience! Immediately, the staff was friendly and helpful. Drinks were perfectly made and the food was delicious! Beautiful ambience and decor. We're looking forward to our next visit already.”
“We had heard such good things about this place. Expectations were pretty high but they were met and even exceeded. The Com Tam was fantastic. As it says on the menu, it definitely serves two, probably three if you're sharing some small dishes as well. The oyster mushrooms were not at all what I was expecting and very delicious. There are a number of good Vietnamese places in Metro Detroit. I appreciate that this one has their own point of view. The staff was friendly and helpful.”
“Tyler is a stellar bartender, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was an absolute delight. The soft shell crab tacos are a great way to start your dining experience, don't forget a flight of their in house crafted beer or guest tap ciders. Perfect dinner date atmosphere. This is a Detroit must try!”
“First and foremost I need to say how much we absolutely love everything about this restaurant.Ownership.Atmosphere.Staff.The amazing sushi! My significant other was never interested in eating sushi while i myself absolutely love it!Convinced her to go to Goblin with me and she absolutely fell in love. The menu is very concise. It's not overloaded with choices. I'm assuming it's by design as the rolls they offer are all wonderful! They have terrific monthly specials as well that had to your choices.Inside tip. Try the sushi nachos. They're amazing. If you're looking for sushi in Detroit this is the place.”
“Absolutely amazing great tasty food in the dead of winter. Very professional. Had the dinner corn taco combo with rice and beans. The rice is good, the beans are great topped with delicious cheese. Corn tacos with chicken was amazing, the corn taco fajita was amazing, the corn tacos mixed meats was not good. The mild green sauce rocked. Posted pics.”
“Excellent beers brewed on site. The saison was particularly delicious. The location is gorgeous with great seating and local art on display. Nice seating outside. Dog friendly inside and out. There are a bunch of board games available and when we went there was a nice food truck.”
“I mad I didn't even take no pictures of the food, it was delicious the best bar food I've had in a long time. The tower was nice and strong definitely helped with Antarctica outside. The waitress was perfect, thank ”
“Place is as inviting as the workers! Games to play. Full food menu. Tons of beer options. Call to coordinate a weekend tour. Scott and other employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Rooftop open seasonally. City Pour is a tasty fruit flavored beer!”
“James was our server and was very attentive! No crumb was left unpicked from our table. Oyster's were small, sweet and amazing! Followed by fried goat cheese and walnut salad. Followed by a very tender piece of Scallop. Then some very tender steak with some form of potato patty, a turnip with a different twist followed by some yummy citrus chocolate cake with an ? Orange creamsicle tastes like ice cream to finish it all off. Everything they touched was A1 Gourmet. Expensive but worth ever bite. Keep up the good work!”
“Great spot tucked away inside a beautiful old building in the city. Open to the public, this is definitely worth a stop for drinks before your dinner reservation. It was full, but not too busy. Good drinks and a relaxed atmosphere with very classy vibes. Live music started around 8”

“Had my first smoothie today. Pineapple with apple, lime and ginger. Delicious!! So fresh with all real ingredients and no added sugar. It was perfect. Thank you so much!”
“Coriander kitchen is a bit of a quirky place that serves food and drinks on its own terms. A former bait shop they serve seasonal including from their own farms and supporting other local & regional meat, cheese, bean producers. The decor is downtown river funky chic. Canal side dining is available and they have lots of special dinners . My friends enjoyed a burger, fish and salad main meals with a couple of spectacular seasonal drinks and they both want to return”
“Nice welcome as you walk in the door. Very friendly staff and the owner was even more personable. I love that she interacts with customers! Que even brought us two free samples of the Gumbo. It was good! I had the Roasted Mushroom Sandwich, it was very tasty. My husband ordered the Fish sandwich, but they mistakenly brought him the Hot Italian sandwich. Great mistake because we got to try that sandwich for free and then they brought him his original order, which my husband loved. Both of us had a side salad with Vidalia onion dressing-really good. I had the Cinnamon Roll for dessert, which was really good!”

James Oliver
“Holy cow the absolute BEST coffee house in the neighborhood! Opens up at 7 am and worth the one block walk from the Curio hotel. Each of us ordered a mocha and an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. The food tasted very fresh very natural and unprocessed if that makes sense. We loved it so much we went BACK AGAIN this morning for our round two. Same coffee mochas this morning and for our sandwich, the Jalapeño Pretzel bread (it is salty but go for it!) and the sausage egg and cheese. We picked up a blueberry muffin as well. Unbelievable to have such delightful food and yes, we found James Oliver via YELP. The staff was FANTASTIC and when we find something we love, we indulge like we did two days in a row. So good!”
“Tomasita, was phenomenal and very attentive. Food and atmosphere were great. The appetizers, dinner and dessert were fantastic. Tomasita, recommendations and attentiveness up our table was top notch!”
“Old school restaurant feel. The seating is comfy and elegant with a modern flair. Greg was our server and he was attentive. The food was delicious with the perfect portions. I would definitely go back for dinner and drinks. (We had brunch).”
“Jon helped us valet park ( we have a lifted truck and cannot fit in parking garages ), instructions to the restaurant were easy, D'Angelo was attentive, kind , suggestive , and positive. Our food was hot , perfect, well worth the cost. What a beautiful view , right Detroits Riverfront ! Great date night . Live music. Amazing all together and amazing service ! We will be back !”

Jacoby's
“The potato pancakes had little flavor. The Sausage Soup was VERY good. The Rindfleisch Rouladen was good as well. The side cabbage had little flavor. I ordered a Koenigsberer Klops (German meatballs) to go. It has 3 meatballs ( just ground beef and capers ) and a lemon caper sauce over fried spaetzle and a condiment cup of cabbage. Not worth $20 IMHO. The service was OK for us getting there at the beginning of an St Andrew's after show rush. Had a "$10 cover charge " sign that they took away when they saw people passing by”

Standby
“Standby restaurant and bar exceeded expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, with a trendy yet cozy atmosphere. Our server, Ebrahim, was an absolute delight, providing top-notch service with a genuine warmth that made our dining experience truly exceptional. The menu offered an array of delectable options, each dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. Whether it was the innovative cocktails or the mouthwatering cuisine, every aspect of our meal was nothing short of superb. Standby is undoubtedly a gem in the dining scene, and Ebrahim's exceptional service only added to the overall charm of this establishment. A must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable culinary adventure.”

“Outstanding meal and service last night before the Fisher Theatre. Wow! A wonderful Prixe fixe menu with a delicious first course fattoush with smoked salmon, 2nd course of yummy walleye with delicious accompaniments and a perfect dessert served by our terrific server, Allison. I loved that they had 2 mock tails on their menu. The restaurant looked beautiful and was stellar all around. Been there many times and it was honestly, my 2nd choice last night. It will be among my top choices from now on!”

Trap Vegan
“My Husband and I visited there today. This was our first time hearing of this place after googling it online. The burgers were AMAZING. I have eaten at many vegan restaurants and this by far was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. We had the Soul Survivor and they were seasoned to perfection. We will certainly be back when we’re back in Michigan.”
“What an amazing space! Very intimate and historical! The food and drinks here are priced very well and are also very good! The service was spotty because of technical difficulties but, I will absolutely visit this establishment again!!”
“Smoothies/juices are perfect any time of the day. We were visiting Detroit for the first time in February and were fortunate to find this shop a few short blocks from our hotel - Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The shop is located on the first floor of the historic Dime building/Chrysler House. We were greeted and served by the owner- Steven. He gave great suggestions and we ended up with the Evolution smoothie and Cacao bowl w/açaí base. We also grabbed some of the energy bites to go from the case. Everything tasted so good!!! So refreshing and delicious!! It was closed today Sunday, but we will definitely return tomorrow morning before heading back to the airport. Thank you again to you and your wife for bringing a little of taste of the island to the big city. ?️Looking forward to visiting again upon our return.”

Slows Bar BQ
“Been a while since we were here and absence does make the heart (and stomach) grow fonder! I went with the Triple Threat and it was amazing. Didn't expect it to go so well together. Paired with Apple BBQ sauce... Even better. Wife got the Pulled Brisket with all the fixins. Didn't try it (too full) but she loved it. Bartenders were very friendly and know their beers.”

El Barzon
“After returning to Detroit from the vibrant streets of Mexico, where the sun always shines, I found solace in the comforting embrace of El Brazon. Tucked away amidst the gray and cold skies, this gem of a restaurant beckoned me with promises of authentic Mexican flavors.Navigating through the inconspicuous rear entrance from the parking lot, we found ourselves welcomed into a cozy interior. While reservations are advisable, we managed to secure a table for two without much delay. Although the decor leaned towards simplicity, it served as a stark contrast to the explosion of flavors awaiting us in the dishes.Opting for indoor seating over the covered outdoor area, we were promptly attended to by the bustling staff. Their efficiency ensured that our dining experience was not only swift but also filled with warmth and hospitality. We indulged in a shared salad followed by a traditional Mexican dish, both of which exceeded our expectations in terms of taste and authenticity.Remarkably, within a mere 45 minutes, we had savored every bite and found ourselves reluctantly bidding farewell to El Brazon. Its convenient parking and secure location offered a sense of ease, distinct from the hustle and bustle of downtown Detroit—a factor that drew us to this hidden culinary haven. In conclusion, for a taste of Mexico without leaving the comfort of Detroit, I wholeheartedly recommend El Brazon. From its delectable cuisine to its efficient service and cozy ambiance, it is a dining experience worth savoring time and time again.”
“Eastern Market Brewing is a great spot to grab some Detroit themed brews in Eastern Market. There is plenty of seating available, inside and out. Little fire pits to keep you warm on a chilly day. There are to-go options if you are unable to dine in. The employees were friendly & upbeat. Give Eastern Market Brewing a try!”

Bad Luck Bar
“Sometimes a little bad luck is all you need!Fantastically crafted cocktails in this speakeasy - no password needed for this secret location. The door is found in the alleyway near the dumpsters.”
“Food was delicious! Lives up to the “best Chinese in midtown” quo! Everything was satisfying and the service was amazing! Will definitely be coming back here upon revisiting the city! If you’re a veggie lover I recommend the lettuce wraps! Also the dim sum is awesome! So much fun and variety! Lots of yummy things to try!!! 10/10Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from! You also have the option to make the curry dishes vegetarian as well. There were also some vegetarian options on the dim sum menu! As well as vegetarian sushi options!!”
“I ordered the ribs , beef ribs & collard greens, rice, yams. I didn't like the looks of the yams, the ribs were good and tender. Beef ribs were delicious the rice was perfect.”
“Great little pub to stop in for a few after dinner drinks. We looked at the menu and we want to go back to try their food. They had a special Noel night menu though-so I didn't see their regular every day menu. Place had a fun vibe and the staff were really Friendly.”
“Let me just say, OMG the blueberry wings!! Who knew?! They were amazing and the service was great! Tried the drink special menu and everything was marvelous. Two super big thumbs up!”
“Thank you to Edyta for helping me to place my order. She was very friendly and patient as I was having difficulty with the online ordering when I entered a wrong zip code. Our Germack merchant closed along with many other great establishments and I was thrilled that Germack delivers to individuals. I've tried other nut brands but none have been as fresh and delicious as Germack. My favorites are cashews and squash seeds. Assortments arr always a welcomed gift for any occasion. I buy the large bags of nuts and freeze in portions - it works for me.”

“Came here for 5-star Amy. I didn’t even sit at the bar, she didn’t serve me, but I had a lot of fun eavesdropping as she served other people. One of those bartenders with strong best friend vibes. Way to go, Amy!”

“Listen they is popping right now the service be A1 and they affordable....taste better than zeebee and hook fish and they hours be good when you want to eat late at night AND BLACK OWNED”
“I ordered wings from dominos tonight and couldn’t eat them because they tasted spoiled. So I called Manhattans and ordered some wings 30 minutes before closing. Thankfully, my wings were freshly cooked and as good as they always are when I order from here. I got the garlic parmesan and honey barbecue wings and they were really good. They saved the night because I did not want to cook and dominos had me so frustrated and disappointed!”
“This is my family Favorite place to eat. We always order to go and yes, there’s a little wait sometimes a long one. Reason being they fix it as you order it and take their time to get it right. The line is long because the food is good. My son absolutely goes crazy once he sees the bag because he knows he’s about to eat the Best Breakfast. Pancakes fluffy, bacon crispy, grits just right and hash browns always on point. This location never disappoints. Thanks to the ladies that work the window for always being so kind and sweet. For sure recommend this location!”

“Love love love fresh fish you can purchase and they fry it for you. Food was well seasoned and delicious!! Usually busy doing lunch so call ahead. Also they take EBT to purchase fish, but must pay cash to fry it after you buy it. Large variety of fish and other seafood items as well some seasonings you can buy. I also bought some German chocolate cake, SO DELICIOUS AND MOIST!!!”
“My family and I dined here yesterday evening, and it was a wonderful experience. We had a large party, and we know how service/ food can be with a larger party, but the staff at Savoy were exceptional! Everyone enjoyed their appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The band is a great touch and adds to the atmosphere. Parking was safe and conveniently located, and they even had a friendly doorman that greets you and walks you to your vehicle upon leaving. As an eastsider it was great to see this type of establishment thriving. I'll definitely be back and will tell others about it!”

“One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Beautiful view of the park and exceptional food and cocktails. Waitress was lovely. Knowledgeable about dietary restrictions.”
“Took my boyfriend here for his birthday this weekend . We loved the food and atmosphere was amazing. The little circle they give you for green and red doesn’t really work they kept coming to the table anyway, No matter what color it was on. We got our sides way after eating all the meat so we didn’t get to enjoy those and my boyfriend didn’t get anything for his bday not even offered to him. But other than those few things everything was great wait staff even helped us pick out drinks so I’ll give her that also.”
“Food was excellent and fresh -had the gnocchi, parsnip soup, and cauliflower. The carrot appetizer was delicious. They make excellent mock-tails here. Environment was great-not too loud. Server Lauren was amazing and professional!”
“Jordan was our bartender last night and he was amazing! Being short staffed and very busy, he still took excellent care of us and the drinks were delightful. Thank you!”
“The food, atmosphere, and service at Savannah Blue is amazing! Savannah Blue is a great place to bring a date, business partner, or family memeber and I know this because I've done all three and have walked away each time blown away by how great our experience was.I love the laid back kind of vibe to it. They've got dim lighting and a young, but professional staff and a sophisticated crowd of guests.I've noticed that inviting someone to Savannah Blue is almost like a status symbol. Without words it says that you enjoy the finer things in life and once your guest leaves after being invited there for the first time by you, it's almost like the sophistication of the restaurant reflects on how they think of you.The food is great, I'm never rushed, the servers are on top of things, I don't have to wait forever to get my food, and Savannah Blue makes going out to eat easy and enjoyable. To anyone thinking about giving Savannah Blue a try, I'd say do it and do it now, you'll be glad you did.”
“Beautiful venue, great location, and amazing food. Only reason I didn't give five stars is it's very expensive for what's provided, gratuity is included (odd for a restaurant at this price point), and our server dropped the ball a couple times.”
“I made a reservation at LDV to celebrate a friend's birthday. I hadn't been to LDV since 2018, but I had recently heard wonderful things! I have to say that my expectations were exceeded! Our waiters Jason and Leo were phenomenal!!!! They offered wonderful suggestions, and all of our food was fantastic! The ambience was lovely, and the parking safe and light so well it was like being at Comerica park at night. This is truly a beautiful and delicious restaurant just a short run down Woodward! I can't wait to return soon.”
“Our server Steven was awesome. The food,dj,atmosphere, service & drinks was a 10/10 We went there for a friend's Birthday dinner. I had the Salmon, mash & spinach it's a must have, it was delicious ?”
“Me and my boyfriend went to celebrate and we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Majority of the food was good except the macaroni and cheese! The environment and vibe was great!”
“We had a girl’s trip from Grand Rapids to Detroit. We chose brunch at The Block and they did not disappoint! The ladies and I were treated so well and they even gave us a special shout out with a toast to our sisterhood! The music, food, drinks and atmosphere was amazing! Our entire group of 7 ladies left completely satisfied and upbeat. The hospitality was unmatched. We will definitely be back very soon ???”
“I loved the fact when I walk in I seen Trump flags . Glad to see your support for someone we need right now . Also they have Biden toilet paper , very impressive . I just don’t know how you got mom’s spaghetti on you ? Borrow 50cent from Dre and get a disposable adult bib from the vending machine.”

“Such a great Birthday experience! From the delicious whipped feta, filet mignon, and date cake to our AmaZing server Rasool who was efficient, engaging and entertaining and the atmosphere is simply beautiful.”
“The two young ladies working the front and running food were super helpful, but I forget their names. We ordered a chana masala and an aloo gobi there that were done perfectly. I can be a difficult customer as a vegan, but they knew what all could be done without ghee or paneer and let me know the roti could be done vegan and the rice was safe, but I should avoid the naan.We ordered two entrees and both got stuffed and still had leftovers, so the portion sizes are great. Will be returning next time I'm hungry around downtown. Also, nice views from the front window with some great people watching.Dietary restrictions: I'm vegan and they had a lot of options and knew what all could be done without ghee or paneer.”
“A brand new bar that is killing the grosse point park area. We love the furniture and decor they have gone with. Currently not serving food, but plan to. Great mixed drinks and they have big plans for weekly events.”
“Bar Rotunda is a cool spot in the “lobby” of the newly rennovated Book Tower. The cocktail menu is nice, however the experienced bartenders can pretty much make any cocktail you could think of. We had the bees knees and espresso martinis. Both drinks were delicious and perfectly balanced. A great spot for a date night or happy hour!”

“Excellent Food That We Had When We Were In Tulsa Oklahoma, My Friend We Were On Our Way To The Airport We Wanted To Eat At A Soul Food Restaurant So We Stop In To This Fixins Restaurant , The Staff Was So Polite In Everything, Me And My Friend Placed Our Food Order Which Was Catfish With Double Collar Greens And Cornbread, The Gentleman That Was Our Server We Stated That We Were From Detroit Michigan , He Also Told Us That The Owner Is In Michigan Right Now Opening A Soul Food Restaurant I Can’t Wait So Happy.”
“i went here with my friend to get smoothies. our smoothies were so good and hit the spot! no more going to eastern market to get a smoothie when joyner juices is right here. the owner is super knowledgeable and very helpful in giving recommendations for what to get. will definitely be my go-to for nearby healthy smoothies.”
