Loved the food here and the staff was awesome and very accommodating. One suggestion for the staff is to make sure the sliders come out at the same time as the sushi. Half our table was done eating and waiting while the other half hadn't had anything yet. Other than that, it was perfect!
I had 3 random sliders and the "crazy train" sushi roll - all were incredible from presentation to taste. Great atmosphere, service was quick and prices were below par. What else can you really ask for.

This place is awesome. All the fish tastes very fresh and the rice is cooked perfectly. They do simple sushi but when done right it tastes amazing. $10 for a cone is perfect for lunch.
Lots of love in this fledgling outfit and a few surprising hits like the Mongolian beef and crab roll. Yellowtail cone was solid as well. May be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
Small cozy authentic fresh sushi in downtown Detroit. Great atmosphere, people and staff are very accommodating
Small menu seemed pricey, especially for sushi with dry rice. $5 for miso soup. $7 for a tuna roll. The tuna was great, but the rice was crunchy and fell apart. Hoping it was just some kinks that are being worked out, this was shortly after they reopened. The service was great and that's why I rated it as high as I did.
Get the cones. They fill you up and have a generous portion of the chosen fillling.

Glad I didn't feed into all of the bad reviews. Me and my husband went for anniversary and we LOVED IT! A bit pricey but very well worth it. Beautiful view, great food and very good service. We look forward to going again and I can't wait!
While it is a little pricey I didn't find it excessive considering the quality of service, the delicious food, the classy ambiance and the great location. I would add they have amazing views, a delightful pianist and I great seafood and sushi. With that said expect 30 to 40 a plate dinners here.
Some of the best sea food I've ever had. The staff was very very nice. After your dinner, they bring you a hot towel to wipe your hands off with, and they have mouth wash in the restroom. This is a upscale place that requires casual attire. You can look at the water while you eat, it is a very nice view. This place is definitely worth trying
This place is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the Atlantic Swordfish and it was cooked to perfection! I also had cheesecake for dessert and Oh My Gosh! It was hands down the best cheese cake I have ever had! It was even better than the cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory!!! "Happy Anniversary" was written on the dessert and we were congratulated by many waiters and managers walking by. The only thing was that the Sangria cocktail I ordered was a little too strong for my taste. Other than that, the customer service is excellent here and I can't wait to return to this place.
Absolutely awesome! My wife & I enjoyed a fabulous lunch on Friday afternoon including a salmon Niçoise salad, best fish tacos in the Midwest & shrimp & grits that would make a Southerner move to Detroit! Not only delicious but very reasonably priced.

Nice atmosphere. The waitress that was serving us was very courteous and had a good smile on her. She was very friendly as well. The staff make the place a lot better. One thing I would like to comment on was the mandatory tip. If the service isn't great, you still have to tip? What is 'tip'? I would come here again.
The service here is definitely in rare form during peak hours. The food is fresh, authentic and compliments the backdrop of the booming downtown atmosphere perfectly. A Great, reasonable happy hour menu bolds well for the nine to fiver that seeks to test the waters of this some what posh, modern Asian gem.
Went here after the auto show and the sushi was fantastic. The staff was friendly. We were able to get in without a reservation which was nice. We came at peak hours and it wasn't too bad of a wait.
Best sushi downtown. Great atmosphere and very nice happy hour. The staff have consistently been friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Food was average. I got the teriyaki chicken and the chicken had a lot of fat and gristle. It tasted good when I found a piece I could swallow. Service was odd. No less than four people explained to me the 10% service charge policy and the philosophy behind it. Not saying I don't support what they were doing and I appreciate the heads up so I did not over-tip but it was just odd. I would go back. I got the impression this 'restaurant' was a high-end bar that served sushi and other asian food.
