I got a geisha roll and crazy roll to go and they were both great. My family had a big take out order and everything was secure and accurate. The only issue we fell into is that their phone wasn't working so we couldn't call in our order. Their eel sauce is not like most eel sauces I am use to. It was more watery and tasting like sugared soy sauce, in my opinion.

This was by far some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. It was fresh, flavorful and melted in our mouths. ? ? The prices were also great and super affordable. We look forward to coming back when in South Florida.

Was so excited to try this place, but sadly watched from my car as the chef prepared my entire order with his mask around his chin. I hate to write 1 star reviews & I understand that not everyone believes in mask-wearing, but I wish someone else had warned me, as I take mask wearing very seriously:-(

One word- phenomenal. House of Joy stays true to it's name as "joy" is the overwhelming atmosphere of all who would be fortunate enough to dine here. The various noodles, meat dishes, fried rice combinations- no word quite encapsulates this experience other than perfection. For all who would dine here I would give you one advice- feast. Delight yourself in the luxuries of each bite and allow your tender stomach to enjoy hedonistic food beyond pleasure.
Steaks were good, but place was really really really old fashioned. I think this place is good for family gatherings, but not really a place to bring a date.We went for Birthday Celebration and reserved seats on OPEN TABLE. That's a plus when they take online reservations. Found street parking because it was a Sunday night. They valet the car, but I have seen too many bad valet parking shows to let attendants drive my car.

I've been here twice. What I love most is the out door seating. It's a cool place to have breakfast, brunch and lunch. You order at the register and take your number then they bring your food.

Really good breakfast! Prices are affordable and their food is delicious. I also love their espresso bar, they make really good drinks. One word of warning, this place gets PACKED on the weekends. Expect to wait a while to order. Its pretty busy during the week too. Still, it's the only good breakfast I have found in the Montrose/LA Canada/LA Crescenta area.
