I was so excited to try the Japanese Bocce Club during our stay at the Boca Raton! We made a reservation for 9:00 P.M. and it was PACKED. There was a wait time, but nothing too extreme. The design is beautiful, and the couches were extremely comfortable, but it was pretty loud which made it difficult to hear. Nothing came out notably fast, but I was never wondering what happened to our order. The food itself was EXCEPTIONAL and greatly exceeded my expectations. We tried a variety of things and they were all scrumptious! I highly recommend the Glazed Sticky BBQ Ribs (or something like that). They were packed with flavour, and the BBQ sauce was amazing! All of the appetizers, sushi, and desserts were great, but the miso soup was a little salty for my taste. Overall, this restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend! We will definitely be back in the future!

This was hands down our favorite meal of the trip! Our server made our meal so special and her recommendations were delicious! Do yourself a favor get the wagyu crispy rice, garlic fried rice and the lychee martini! Olivia you are amazing at what you do! Thankful to have celebrated our anniversary with an amazing meal!

Ordered a 268$ wagyu filet and it was served on what looked like a cafeteria plate zero hype zero excitement zero flavor . The inside feels like a delta sky lounge short ceilings

Best experience last night at Japanese bocce club! The atmosphere is incredible, elegant while family friendly. The sushi is so fresh and the wagu steak was tender as can be. Best of all, the chef and team accommodated to our severe dairy allergy with caution and care. We are so grateful!!

I love Bocce club, I have been at least 6 times (that I can remember). The service, ambiance and food are amazing and consistent. Fish is always extremely fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the wagyu crispy rice, this along with their nigiri specifically always brings me back here. One of my favorite restaurants.

Japanese Bocce Club feels like a concept in search of an identity. It’s giving “diner meets Japanese fusion” with a splash of forced spice, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t deliver where it counts—flavor.
The spicy cucumber salad? Surprisingly good. But the chopped baby gem was a hard pass—interesting idea, not so great execution. The sushi was forgettable, and the kids’ chicken teriyaki came with a grand total of three tiny slices. (Come on, even kids know when they’re getting shortchanged.)
The highlight was the wagyu beef skewers, but even those tasted more broiled than grilled, which felt like a missed opportunity for something truly special.
The staff is friendly and the indoor atmosphere is decent, while the bocce ball outside adds a fun twist—but sadly, the overall experience just didn’t live up to the hype. For a spot tied to the Boca Raton Hotel, it should (and could) be doing a lot better.

What a disappointment....
Utensils were not clean, they didn't clean the tables after our appetizers, and the restaurant was very loud.
As for food:
Salmon sashimi - terrible! For $10 a piece, the salmon was VERY fishy, almost tasted lox-like.
Scallop dragon roll - the roll was fresh, but I didn't taste any pistachios, butter or lime.
Teriyaki ribeye and sticky ribs - was decently flavorful. Probably the only redeeming feature of the night.
Mochi - terrible, had to spit it out.
Unfortunately we will not be coming back here or recommending this to anyone

I had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday here! Great food, service and attention to detail throughout the night. I recommend the Toro and Hamachi rolls. The manager was very knowledgeable regarding Sake bottle recommendations

I recently had a frustrating experience at BOCCE, the Japanese restaurant at the Boca Hotel, that I feel needs to be addressed. After booking a reservation for a party of eight months in advance, we arrived only to find that the reservation had been incorrectly noted for the following day. To make matters worse, the staff informed us that the next available seating was not until 9 PM, which was completely impractical, especially with four young children in tow.
After waiting about 15 minutes, one of the men in our group approached the staff to inquire about our situation. Miraculously, they suddenly found a way to accommodate his request for a 7:30 reservation. It was disheartening to see how quickly they were able to resolve the issue for him while we, as a party with children, were left in limbo.
This experience felt discriminatory, as it seemed our needs were overlooked simply because I was the one asking. Given that BOCCE is marketed as a family-friendly restaurant, this was particularly disappointing. Instead of enjoying our planned dinner there, we ultimately left and found a wonderful Italian restaurant off-site, where we were treated with respect and courtesy.
I expected much more from BOCCE, and I can't recommend it based on this experience. Families deserve better, especially at a resort that claims to cater to them.

There were two of us and we fried around 100 grams of vegetables per person in a batter. In addition, 2 slices of smoked tofu, approximately 0.5 cm thick and 3x6 cm in size, and a bowl of rice, plus a beer and table water.
We then owed $180.
With all my love, the food wasn't that good.

Second time we go with the Family and it is confirmed that it is a disaster. The noise from the poor acoustics of that restaurant is unbearable. The food is mediocre and the price is very expensive. Except for the waiter who served us, Mr. Daniel, who was super friendly, the rest was a disaster, not to mention a shame for a place as spectacular as The Boca Raton. We will not return again!!
