I can honestly say that I’ve never felt the need to review an establishment before…….BUT I must do so in this instance!My family of 16 has been visiting the area for the past 10 days from all over the country. We have eaten ALL three meals a day out during our stay. We’ve gone to very high end restaurants around the Anna Maria Island and Holmes Beach areas.We chose Sonny’s on Sunday, April 14th and SO glad we did. This was by far an amazing experience.Lisa was our server and from the moment we sat down until our walk out the door, she was nothing short of attentive, knowledgeable, funny and professional.We never had to ask for drink refills, the food came out on three big trays and she remembered what each person ordered, even including specific unusual requested condiments.Her suggestions for appetizers and her overall knowledge of the menu was top notch!Once again, thank you for an awesome experience.P.S. She also gave us some suggestions for places to eat and things to do when we head to Bimini in the Bahamas today to continue our family reunion!
Fresh salad bar and the sliced pork is the best in manatee county. Never a bad experience here .

We were a party of ten. Two people in our party were seated at the ends of a table for eight. The ends of the table tops became too crowded. This made eating tigh' and uncomfortable.

I love to come here because I love the sliced pork. It’s always juicy but today it took a little while to get my food and I really don’t care if I’mWaiting for something to cook up fresh… but we got our meal and it was slightly just warm and the sliced pork was cold and dry. Today was not a good day.

We attended Easter dinner at Sonny’s in Bradenton off st rd 64. Both the manager Sarah, Danielle and several others truly made our Easter magnificent, an Easter we had no intention on celebrating due to financial reasons. None of them know our situation or our story. We became homeless 4 months ago when we had to choose to pay for my cancer treatments or a roof over our heads. Last night I couldn’t fall asleep knowing when we woke up my kids wouldn’t have an Easter or an Easter dinner and the staff at Sonny’s changed the entire outlook of our Easter. They have no idea how far their kindness and love has shown us. A little of their kindness went a long way with my family and I will never forget them and how loving they were when they didn’t have to. They have made our Easter an unforgettable one and we appreciate them so much. Cherish these employees because they made a huge difference in my families lives and I can only imagine the other lives they have also touched. Thank you ladies from the bottom of my families hearts for you love, kindness and generosity to my family❤️
Very meh. We were hoping it would be a better experience. Corn fritters were good. We waited about 25-30 minutes for the two sandwiches we ordered. Pulled pork was flavorless, cold and mostly fat. Mac and cheese is mushy and from frozen, for sure. The brisket was also SUPER fatty. Waitress was kind but must have been busy, we didn’t see her very much. Check out Mission instead.
