I always travel to Orlando every year and I loved visiting this place, it had very good drinks, very good food, it had a very familiar atmosphere, the waiters were very friendly, the manager always made sure you were well, everyone, now I don't know what would happen if the owners changed, oh well. bosses, everything is terrible, the food is not the same, the drinks do not taste the same and they include the tip for 3 people, which I don't understand, just because they don't give you the attention you deserve, they don't care if you want more drinks, you want a dessert Nothing, the truth is, I don't recommend them to anyone so they don't feel bad like I felt.

My first visit to Avocado Mexican Grill turned into quite the memorable lunch, much more than the quick bite and margarita I initially had in mind. The place has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual lunch, but what truly set it apart was the fantastic bartender. His skill and friendliness elevated the entire experience, making us feel welcomed right from the start.The margaritas were nothing short of amazing—fresh, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and tart. It's rare to find a spot that nails this classic drink so perfectly on the first try. Then, as luck would have it, I noticed they had Don Julio 1942 on the menu. Needless to say, that discovery led to us lingering a bit longer than we had planned. But who could resist?I highly recommend Avocado Mexican Grill for anyone looking for great drinks, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It was a lunch that went above and beyond my expectations, turning what was supposed to be a quick stop into a thoroughly enjoyable outing. Definitely a place to revisit!

BEWARE.. Server missed a drink order at the beginning, no big deal until the whole dinner started to unravel.. Want cheese in your birria tacos? Too bad. One of our guests has a dairy allergy and their meal came with cheese, not once but TWICE. Want hotsauce? They’ll give you an empty bottle, not even joking. To top it all off they gave us $10 off a $175 bill. Really can’t make this up, thought it we just got pranked but nope. Don’t do it to yourself.

DON‘T COME if you want good service and/or have allergies. Absolutely terrible service and did not handle an ALLERGY as a restaurant should. One of us had a dairy allergy and food was brought out with cheese and sent back. Food that came out again had more cheese. ???? Also ordered a $20 veggie bowl and added fajita veggies and what came out was broc, cauli, and carrots that were clearly steamed in a microwave. Plain. No seasoning. So bad. Waitress would disappear for 20 min forgetting water and drinks and didn’t seem to care about any of the mistakes and only took 20% off the allergen contaminated food. No manager coming out to apologize, nothing. Just a shrug and 20% off one meal that wasn’t even able to be fully eaten. Completely unacceptable.

Utter disappointment. After hearing such great reviews about this establishment we decided to give it a try.We were promptly greeted by the friendly hostess who led us to our table. Our waiter arrived shortly thereafter and spoke very quietly and in a demeanor that you could tell he was not happy to be there. He took our drink order and stated he would return.Upon returning with the incorrect drinks, he then took our order. We waited approximately 10 minutes for our appetizer of chips and dip to arrive, and were not offered refills upon bringing the appetizer.The waiter sat on the opposite side of the restaurant playing on his phone, and then once our food was ready in the window, continued to pay no mind and brought us our food after it had begun to cool off.The food was on-par with any other Mexican restaurant and nothing to go out of our way for, however, the price is around 30% more than any other restaurant, with slightly larger portions. We were never asked how the food was, and the waiter never came over until we had stacked our plates and brought us the credit card processor. Upon paying, he stood over me, staring at what the tip would be.After hearing about how great of a restaurant I was, I left disappointed with the service and prices, however, I will be sure to not repay the favor and not recommend this restaurant to anyone in the future.

Overrated. Carne asada was so over cooked it was like trying to chew thru leather, so was the ribeye. Servers were friendly and responsive.

We love avocado. Due to scheduling we typically eat here once or twice a week. Though my rating doesn't reflect it, I do have complaint. Bring back the Tres Leches! I'm not kidding, it was really good and there isn't anything else on the dessert menu that appeals to us. Love the vibe and adore the staff.

Great place for a more upscale restaurant. Had guacamole which was so tasty and she offered salt and limes which is a nice addition. Margaritas were top shelf and prepared to order versus some traditional restaurants who have machines. Proportions were large, typically American. Good food takes time to prepare right, so the naysayers just need to stop. Beverly was so nice and attentive. Delicious! Yummy! The only issue was the crows after a table clears. But hey, it's outside in Florida.
