First time back in 30+ years. Food was as good as I remember when I was in Tallahassee in college. That drive was always worth it. Thanks for still being there.

Stopped here when passing through. Long wait on our order, maybe 45 minutes. Catfish full of bones and some pieces were literally just the skeleton and fins. Baked beans were good. $28 for a combination plate and drink.

Ordered the flounder and it was so fishy I could not even get down the first bite. The husband ordered the fried chicken and although we were only one of 3 tables in there it Came out about 15 minutes after my fishy flounder was served. The chicken was so dry and over cooked he only took a few bites. The fries were undercooked and had zero flavor. I will say that the hush puppies were tasty and really the only edible thing that was served. The waitress was very nice and apologetic about the not so fresh fish and did take it off our bill. The restaurant was also extremely clean. Would possibly give it another chance since it could have just been an off day.

Used to be a favorite of mine but recently returned and ordered mullet fish with hushpuppies to take out. Normally we dine in but were going to Snead's park to eat by the water. To my surprise the fish wasn't fresh and had very little pride put into the preparation. Total disappointment. We were to far as away to take it back so we forced ourselves to force it down.Parking: Never had parking problem at this spot.

This was the cleanest food place I've ever been in, every table top shined and the floor also. The food excellent, fish fried just right, side prepared just right. The best of the best. Very friendly service and plenty on the plate for the cost.
