The best overall value in Clearwater. I've lodged at 8+ hotels/ motels in this area during the past 3 years. Yesterday I ARRIVED (again!). A man named Anthony got me the exact suit/ room I desired. He did it equitably. The EARLY BREAKFAST IS ADEQUATE, Protein in meats and eggs along with the usual carbs, juices, coffe and cereals. When the nightly rate, net, exceeds $145 I suffer in a nearby dive. This hotel is the best overall VALUE in this area. So use it and see. Save yourself all the skipping around because I already did. La Quinta Clearwater Central is beautiful. The courtyard, the pool! Breakfast is included and is delicious with scrambled eggs, meat and make your own waffles everyday along with an assortment of breads and pastries. Fruit, yogurt, cereals. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating as well as the breakfast staff and room staffing and the manager. This is my go to hotel. It is convenient and I felt very safe there. My sister stayed there for 3 weeks in November 2021, when I went to the hospital for a stroke, and she felt very safe coming and going by herself. They took care of her like she was family.

My wife and I stayed for five nights during which I sat for the Florida July Bar Examination. Throughout our stay, the staff was courteous, professional, and friendly. We had everything we needed, and if there was anything additional we wanted, all we needed to do was ask. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the room we stayed in was excellent as well. The continental breakfast was exceptional; everything was clean, fresh, and filled with variety. The location is perfect, especially for those who want quick access to downtown Tampa, as was the case for us. We were also able to make a quick run down to Anna Marie Island, without any inconvenience. Truly a great central location for anywhere you want access to near Tampa. We loved our stay!

My family and I had a wondeful experience at the La Quinta! The pool area was a great place ofr the kids to play. We were able to have our dog with us. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room clean. I will be back again soon!

The hotel was just as pretty as advertised. My Mom and I took a trip down to Clearwater from August 8 to August 10 and had a fabulous time. - Our hotel room was clean with a nice view per our request. - We were able to get free coffee and lime/lemon water, something we thought was obvious until we got to a different hotel. - We had a hard time finding our room since this hotel is right next door to a different hotel with the same design it seemed like. We talked to the front desk and she had somebody walk us to our room before we accepted it. - Everybody was so nice and patient. We were new to town and asked so many questions during stay but they were so calm and gave us directions every time. - The jacuzzi was such a bliss. - Each room had a balcony. There are two lounge areas where you can buy alcoholic beverages and enjoy the night with loved ones. The only thing is I wish there were lights along the pathway and the lounges to the pool at night. It seems that there were only lights from the pool. - Parking was easy and plenty. - It's only 18-20 minutes from the beach and the route there was easy. - Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Normally I dread hotel breakfasts but this one was different. We had bagels, waffle makers, hot eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, cereal, breads, beverages, coffee, etc. The hot foods were different each day! - Next time my boyfriend and I come here, I'll definitely book this place, no question asked.

Considering everything that was wrong with the room the GM over this hotel made it right and has gained me back as a customer . If you aren’t the type of person to complain about something . Say something anyways and they will get it fixed ! If you looking for a place to stay come here and they will fix you up right

Room smelt so strong of mold and dampness within 20 minutes me and my fiancés noses were stopped up, and the a/c did not work correctly. We were upgraded to a suite upstairs, same problems except the a/c worked somewhat better but not really. I still can’t come to terms I paid $136 for one night. This is a much older building and even the furniture is worn to where it needs to be replaced.

I stayed here in 2021 and returned in July 2022 based on the great experience we had in 2021. We flew into Tampa and found the location to be convenient for visiting family in Clearwater, going to Clearwater Beach, and getting to/from the airport. The breakfast was great for value and variety. There's a convenient walking/biking path close by along Old Coachman Road.

The check-in process wasn't as nice as I was expecting... The clerk barely made eye contact with me... and she wasn't very friendly when I tried making nice, small talk with her... Then we were barley in our room for 5 minutes when the person in the next room started playing very loud Hispanic music and singing at the top of his lungs! Since the clerk didn't respond to me very well, I asked my partner to go ask if we could move to a different room... We were moved to the back of the hotel where it was nice and quiet, but when we entered the room we were greeted by a disgusting smoke smell and furniture that looked like they picked it up off the side of the road... Fortunately we were only staying one night and weren't spending a whole lot of time in the room other than to sleep... How does TripAdvisor decide which hotels deserve to be included in the PLUS membership??? This one needs to be taken off the approved list!!!!!
I arrived to the hotel for my daughter swim meet. The room provided first time around 131 was very clean, breakfast was amazing buffet style and everyone was so nice. We came in with a service dog so I guess we got the first floor with flooring instead of carpet. We rebooked the hotel when my daughter qualified for regionals and arrive 5 days later so complete opposite. Room 132. The room smelled awful, there was other dogs urine on the curtains and the room definitely needed major tlc. Thank goodness we only stayed for one night because otherwise I would of checked out early. The breakfast was great as first time, staff was super friendly and the hot tub was a huge hit for myself and the kids. The second experience definitely left us with a question if we would come back again and more than likely it would be a NO. My friend booked with me both times but didn’t have a service dog and her room was super clean on the second floor. Word of advice, good hire if you are not coming with dogs and that includes a service dog.

This was a nice hotel and close to Ruth Eckerd Hall for a concert we were attending that evening. All of us travelling from different cities were able to meet there and have a great time. The hotel was clean, and the pool was refreshing.

A good deep cleaning would make this place a decent hotel. It appears they dropped a lot of money in paint and carpet but no pictures on the wall, dusty, dirty corners of the rooms reveal just basic cleaning practices which fall into a fair at best property. I was there only one night so no big deal however, would have probably moved to a different hotel if stayed longer. maybe the other rooms look better??

Nice place to just get away to for a day, as the view was nice as nice but if you get a spot to see the inside of the hotel it is nice overall I love the stay and would recommend to anybody who want to get away
