Worst fries I have ever had in my entire life. I never complain but they were terrible and $20. I am hoping to save future people from purchasing expensive fries. Jon Taffer needs ruffle some toucan feathers.

After the disappointing dinner the night before at the Beachcomber we remembered seeing a sign down the street at Toucans for surf and turf 59.99. Let me say this was above great and for this price. The steaks were perfect. We explained our experience the night before with ordering medium and received well done elsewhere, Anthony our server assured us that wouldn’t happen. The steak was juicy, a whole lobster and mash potatoes with Broccoli to top the meal. The mash potatoes looking runny but they tasted amazing. Anthony went above and beyond with service. We will be telling others and when returning to Clearwater we will be back.

Awesome way to spend your evening. There are daily $5 drink specials. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. I will definitely return.

The food was fabulous and definitely plenty for the price! The first night, we ordered 2 entrees which was too much for my daughter and I. The second night we split an entree. Atmosphere is very laid back, staff was friendly, we've ate there 2ce so far and we will be going back before we leave here.

Toucans was one of the only places open the night of the hurricane. We stopped in for a bite to eat. I would not consider the restaurant to be packed but they did have quite a few tables full. We were able to get in and get a table quickly. Our server did a pretty good job of handling our party of eight with all the other tables she had as well. We ordered quite a bit of food including apps and entrees and drinks. The wings were delicious. We ordered the garlic parm in the dry rub Caribbean. Both were flavored very well and both were pretty sizable portions. We did not have any complaints with the food or the drinks. The only reason I am rating this lower than a five is due to the prices. In my personal opinion, I believe the prices are a little bit high for the wings. 10 wings are 20 bucks. I think for that price there are better options around. But I will say that while everyone else was shutting down and not serving food, toucans had their doors open and welcomed us in. They also had a live band playing that was pretty good in the atmosphere was cool. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place on the main drag. The bartender was the highlight. Went to watch hockey and college football. Our bartender was attentive, accommodating, and engaging. Don't remember his name though. Took advantage of gametime beer and flavored vodka (three olives) specials. Looked over the apps on menu and had sticker shock. Quickly learned you could place half order of nachos. It was plenty for two people. Pic is after we had already eaten half. Chips were well seasoned with ample amounts of toppings so much so we ordered extra chips. The dipping sauce that accompanied was excellent. Can't speak to entres but I definitely would return when back in town.

Friendly staff! Wife and I ordered the loaded fries and a couple mixed drinks. Drinks were great, but the fries had too much garlic (they do say they're garlic fries so be warned!) and were loaded with grease. Overall good experience and I can't blame the garlic fries for having too much garlic lol.

We drove across Florida to Clearwater during our 2 week trip from the UK for the day. It was honestly the best food we had during our two week trip. The burgers are amazing. The waitress was really nice and the bill was not too bad.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu.

So I'm traveling for my honeymoon and stopped here after we left the beach. My wife loved the wings. And my burger was really good. Wish I could've gotten a picture of our food but it was too good to even take a picture. If you go request Angel as your waitress. Treated us amazing. Kept our drinks refilled and our food came out quick!!! Definitely a place to go if you are a tourist

Don’t even use the restrooms here!We had parked close to Toucans and were all hungry so figured what the heck let’s try it.First impression was made by the bathrooms. Absolutely filthy! Second was the prices on the menu. Ordered the build your own burger and was charged for everything put on it….not how the menu leads you to believe it is. Waitresses were small talking where we could hear then making comments about the other employees mood for the day. Far from professional especially for the prices they charge. Although I will say the burger patty was freshly hand made and was fairly good considering the price.Made me chuckle just now saw the owner replied to another review in regards to the prices of everything being so high. I understand that as I’m in business myself…..no excuse for not trying to keep a clean and professional environment no matter how much your cost are!Owner needs to take constructive criticism and better his establishment from it…..not get defensive. As well as read and comprehend what was said and not take it out of context.

You can find this on their checkins on Facebook. I tried to pay for tables bill. 75 dollars the waitress pressured me to pay at the very moment the other table was leaving. Implying I couldn't pay. Terrible
