First time ever going to this restaurant, it was one of the best meals I have had in quite a while on the seafood side. Every single meal at our table was hot fresh and delicious. I've never gone to a seafood restaurant, where I have not had to send something back due to the fact that the item was cold. Outstanding if I could give them 10 stars, I would.

We were really losing hope that you could find fresh seafood even being this close to the Gulf, but Emerald Isle changed that quickly!!! Wonderful fresh seafood prepared amazingly!! Wonderful staff and service!! I would definitely recommend this place!!!

Freaking AMAZING food. Don't let the facade fool you. Hole in the wall joint that needs to be featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives

Clean and friendly. Takes a minute to get your food, but its fresh and cooked perfectly.

Amazing food- highly recommend fish tacos and boom boom shrimp - cute clean place - great service - very impressed.

On our way home from Destin, we found the best, freshest seafood for lunch! Great service as well! If you like locally sourced and family-owned restaurants, you will not be disappointed!

The food tasted really good!! The fried shrimp and oyster platter was perfect along with the twice baked potato! Everyone else’s food was really good as well. If we are ever in the area we will definitely make a repeat visit. I highly recommend.

Crab cakes, gumbo and grits were fantastic. My waitress was on top of it. Will definitely be back again when in area.

Absolutely amazing. Ended up here based on hunger, desire and reviews. Fried blue crab claws app was exactly what I was looking for. Wife had Basil shrimp and linguine. She’s Italian and raved about the flavor. I had boiled shrimp (incredible texture and flavor) ain’t been frozen. Cole slaw to die for. Hush puppies are amazing. Black eyed peas done just right. French fries that would make ya slap ya mama. We spent a few days down at gulf. Every day we missed out on seafood cause all places had 1-1/2 hour wait. So glad we didn’t eat down there and ended up at Emerald. The decor is a true fish market and restaurant of old.

The food is absolutely amazing! Its a small, hole in the wall restaurant, a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the servers friendly.. We got there at 5 right before the dinner rush started, there were 2 other tables occupied. Within 15-30 minutes of us arriving the place was packed with a line waiting to be seated. Highly, highly recommend.

Wowza! Everything was awesome! From being seated by sweet Gracie, to leaving with a very content tummy! Gracie made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive.Ginger Lime Salmon—superb! Key lime — to die for!Husband enjoyed his very plentiful combo fried platter with scallops and shrimp. Huge shrimp! This is not a hole in the wall. This is a very clean, quaint and nicely decorated restaurant. We couldn’t take advantage of the fresh market side, but it looked great.

Amazing food and wonderful experience! The people are very friendly. Patrick the owner was very accommodating. He cooked the fish we caught and we also ordered calamari and shrimp. Everything was so fresh, would come again!

I've been eating here for 8 years and I've never ever had a problem. The food is very fresh. I use to work at the comfort inn and I'd send every customer I'd encounter because I was in love with the food. I haven't been in awhile due to health reasons but they know my face and my order when they see me. Great food, great manager

Had lunch of fried flounder and bronzed (cross between blackened and grilled) shrimp. Outstanding. Must try the gouda cheese grits!
