The food here is good. You get alot of white people who stare at you at this bar. You can tell white people feel uncomfortable around blacks but they don't give blacks a hard time. This place was packed with whites and way more blacks came in by the end of our visit maybe because it was happy hour lol because the food and drinks are good. I have worked in food service and I can say for sure our server wasn't thrilled that she had black customers but she warmed up to us towards the end due to a mistake they made. The staff in the back and cooks are black, so this definitely lets me know that white people who work there have their opinions of black people, they simply tolerate black people. You can tell that there is a difference. I am black and its a little uncomfortable to be in a bar like this, but it could be worse, so i wont complain, im just explaining the atmosphere. We tipped the server very nicely and she was thrilled about that. We like to break stereo types. We got the sandwich with the coleslaw. I don't eat cole slaw but I tore this sandwich up! It was so very good. The wings were friggin delicious and had a different kind of sauce, believe it or not the banana dessert is GOOD. I was reluctant to try it, but it was so good. The category 5 drink WILL get you buzzed, i don't care who you are. CAT 5 drink is strong on liquor, not on taste just so you know. I had a category 5 drink and it got me right. I followed that up with a category 2 drink and it was a good day! All in all the feel of the bar is people who are reserved with different races until you show them otherwise and become a regular there. It is what it is. The guy I went with is a regular, he is black but they haven't fully accepted him yet lol. That takes time. The food is good. You should try it.

The Sandbar has its pro's and con's, Good: The staff all good, my favorite is Nicole. Drinks prices are fair. Bad: Bathrooms are almost as bad has Alabama Jack's. Remodel the bathrooms PLEASE!

What a great sports bar...plenty of TVs throughout the Grill...inside, outside on their 2 patios plus along their 2 bars, 1 in and the other out on the side patio.This was our 1st time here as we just moved...lots going on each day..Monday poker, Friday to Sunday band start at 8pmThe service was very friendly and professional and this young lady was handling quite a few tables in the afternoon...impressive and very personable!! Well done!The food was great pub grub...large wings, good sauces, a tasty hot burger, the fajitas were excellent w a huge plate on condiments and toppings...again, impressive. The chicken strips were numerous and tasty!We will return for poker and the Bands...I know the food will b great...a super 1st impression to this neighborhood bar.

Ordered wings and fries to go. I was pleasantly surprised. I usually get my wings at flannys but decided to try them here since they’re so close to my place. I got the mild wings but will likely order other flavors next time to try what they have. I’ll probably eat in because the atmosphere seemed nice in there. Place was packed and that’s always a good sign for me!
