Poor quality pizza. Was over cooked and dry with little cheese. The service was very poor also. The server had a bad attitude. No wonder the place was empty in the middle of dinner. At least it looked clean.

Sometimes I've gone here a couple times, mainly because the location is convenient and it's close by. Since I last came, the $6 lunch special that includes two slices and a drink has gone up to $9. Those slices don't include toppings, and the coke didn't seem to include gas in my case. Service is sometimes so so, as is the hygene that I try to overlook, it's hit or miss with them in general. But $10 for lunch today was way too much. To give you an idea, Blaze, right across the street sells a whole pie (a small one) for about that price, with whatever toppings you want. It's not NY style, but then this isn't all it can be all the time either (felt a little soggy today, but other times it's been okay). There's a really nice place up the street that does the $6 special with one topping and a canned drink. And that place does have really amazing crust/dough (always does), but it's kind of a hole in the wall without really really a lot of seating, and the location isn't as convenient. There are a couple places around like that, come to think of it. I was lazy, and came here. That's basically what you're paying for at Del vecchio's, the Tower Shops real estate in a high traffic/visibility area of Davie. And just to elaborate a bit more, I've never tried the pasta here, but it's your basic tomato sauce and possibly a meat. You can get that somewhere near $15 here. At Brio's up the street, which is a nice place, you can get their bolgnese pasta for $17. And that has both sausage and beef, along with carrots, herbs, and marinated with a hint of wine (so good), that's a little more than what you pay here, only a little. Carrabba's and olive garden have similar things, last I checked, you could get something really decent for about 15. I would probably come here more often if the prices were more down to earth.

Was greeted by a racist. Redhead claimed he was the owner wouldn't take my order and would mock my accent. Told me I should come back where I came from. His hands were filled with filth and would fling debris when yelling at me. Must blacklist this place for racism and hygiene issues. Will never come back here again. Disappointed that in 2022 instead of being met with kindness and understanding, I am greeted with attitude, hate speech, and rejection of service. I should have called the police but it was not worth my time. If I could give a negative rating I could. If you are latino I highly recommend you do not go to this establishment.

I have never been treated with such rudeness and disgust in my life. I have been coming to this establishment for years, before it was pizza loft/delvecchio's, when it was tower pizza. It seems they have lost their touch. I shop in the shopping plaza all the time and will stop here to get a quick bite to eat. I wanted to order 2 slices of pizza on my lunch break. I needed to use the restroom before I ordered. I was stopped and was told that restrooms were for dine-in only. I responded back saying I was ordering food as soon as I came back out. He asked if I was dining in, I simply said no. He almost refused to let me use the restroom. I wanted to walk out at this point because I was so frustrated. Is a paying customer not allowed to use the restroom ? anymore? Why would this even be a thing. I had to stare at him and wait for him to finally say that I could use the restroom. Honestly, I wish he would have told me no because I had to go so bad I would have peed on the floor. The point of working at a restaurant is to have good customer service. If you are not a people person and cannot be a decent person, then do not work where you have to engage with people. You have lost a loyal customer.

I went to Del Vecchios with a party of six on Sunday evening, when the restaurant was completely empty. The entire experience was absolutely awful. Our waiter was Sebastian, and he was the most unprofessional waiter I have ever met in my life. He did not greet us, he took about twenty minutes to take our orders. We ordered 6 garlic knots first, which were mediocre at best, and Sebastian didn't even give us napkins or plates. There were no other waiters, and I had to walk up to the back and grab the napkins myself. We then waited an additional 40 minutes for our food, which was only late because Sebastian did not bring the food up to us when it was done, in an empty restaurant. The cook had to bring us our food, and when someone in my party asked for utensils, the cook turned to Sebastian, who was meddling behind the counter, and said "Really Sebastian?" This cook was given the responsibility of a busser, and was doing the work of the waiter due to Sebastian's incompetence. This cook was overworked, and I do not blame him whatsoever for our experience. Instead I blame the management and waiting staff. The food was bland and barely edible. The chicken was barely cooked, none of the food looked appetizing, nor did it taste the part. On top of all this, we waited another 15 minutes for the check after one of us asked Sebastian at the front desk for it, again, in an empty restaurant. He then brought it to us unsplit, and we asked if he could split the check for us. Ten minutes later, he came back to our table, and asked "Can you guys like uh pay someone here and just pay it all at once?" Isn't it the restaurant's job to split the check as intended? And at the end of this entire fiasco, they included a mandatory tip of 18%, when this experience was worth 3% on a generous note. I am not the type to leave negative reviews for restaurants, and I'd much rather use this time doing anything else, but the service was embarrassing on behalf of Del Vecchios, and the food was a hostile joke to all of Italy. Save yourself the ridiculous cost and go to an Olive Garden, where it will not only taste better, but you will also be treated with at least an ounce of respect as a patron.

Horrible restaurant the guy in the front with the red hair is extremely rude told us to scan an updated menu when asked if something was included which it stated in the menu it does they tried charging more and were very rude when talking and explaining to us not to mention how disgusting the mozzarella balls are!

Tried this restaurant today for lunch and the pizza was fantastic! However, I nearly fell out of the booth when I received my check. I ordered a 10" pizza with sausage, black olives and mushrooms with water. My pizza was $27.00 for a 10" pizza - $15.00 for the plain cheese pizza and $4.00 per each additional topping. Honestly, I didn't look at the prices, so my bad. I was hoping to add this spot to my lunch rotation, but I can't afford it. They do offer some lunch specials, but I'm traumatized by the unexpected cost of my first visit, so I most likely won't go back :(

Any time I am in Fort Lauderdale, DelVecchio's is a must stop. Can only speak to the Pizza and Salad though. Everything on the menu looks great. The Pizza is the closest if not perfect New York Style Pizza. And delicious! The Guy working there isnt exactly the most charming or friendly.. Hence the missing 5th star... But seems he has to do everything by himself... Cook, serve, cash... (no waiting staff the last couple times I have been there) so understand if he doesnt feel he has time for warm fuzzies for customers... Be he does a very efficient Job. If you in the Davie area, this place is a must stop. (they are Hiring too)

We went in during the late afternoon today to get a couple slices from the counter and since we were eating in, we were offered to have seat in the booth and have table service. Our slices were warmed perfectly and were DELICIOUS! It tasted just like NY pizza. Folded perfectly for every yummy bite. This is not a fancy Italian restaurant, it's a pizza/casual place. Go for the food, not ambiance. We will definitely be back to order a full pie, and I know we will enjoy every bite!

Haha did not expect to see so many poor reviews. They're wrong -- I'm right. Best NY-style foldable pizza and chicken parm in the county. Highest praise available. Sincerely, Guy who moved here from Brooklyn in 2020.

Come on down to Delvecchio's Pizzeria and Italian food , the food his is fresh and savory flavors, take a look at the list pasta, meatballs, all Italian dishes! The atmosphere feels like NY style rustic! It's very clean the bathrooms are recently painted. The staff are super friendly and helpful along with a smile! My family and I enjoy this restaurant very much! Come on down give it a try and I assure you you will like your cheesy fingers. Careful it's from from the pizza oven, give it time. Happy dining!

I can not believe they actually have not gone put of business with the rudest red headed guy behind the counter! He sends customers away when he does not feel like making a pizza. He never opens the doors at 11 as the hours on the door clearly stated as with the OPEN sign lit..yet he hasn't even arrived to work on time! DeVecchios you have great food but you really need to rid your baggage or just close the doors!

the owner or manager "the guy who runs the place" is absolutely rude. claimed i ordered a pizza and never picked it up and i am positive i NEVER did that. on top of being a regular customer and supporting the business he continued to argue with me and be extemely mean on the phone. after telling me that they are struggling as a business i know why. its the management and customer service. Additionally the time he claimed i never picked up the pizza they messed up the pizza i ordered! Never have experienced such a rude phone call in my life to a paying customer.

Don't get me wrong, when it comes to New York style pizza, I'm all for it. Give this place a try and pizza was actually very good. Inside is clean, floors are greasy so be careful when you walk. There isn't any customer service here but if you are looking for delicious pizza, this is the place.

Horrible, rude, unbelievably bad customer service. The red head worker a****** was an inconsiderate piece of s**** Food used to be good but your appetite will be ruined by the scumbags working here. I hope they get rats, shut down and go straight to hell.
