Had high hopes for the place, but the variety left me disappointed. The sushi was decent, probably the best thing they offered. However, the chicken dishes were all bland, lacking even a hint of seasoning not even salt. It was tough to enjoy them without any flavor. The hibachi chef was helpful, but it was unexpected that you couldn't choose the quantity of food; they decided for you. The same went for the sauces—I just wanted to try them, but ended up wasting the rest of the meal. The ice cream wasn't good either; it had a strange chemical taste to it.

So I'll start off by saying the food didn't taste bad. It was actually decent - decent enough so that out of all of the buffets I've eaten at , I trusted this sushi the most. It looked freshly prepared and so I loaded up on it.Well fast forward 8 hours and Im now realizing what a big mistake that was because I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning. I eat at buffets regularly and usually can bypass the "buffet stomach ache" that most people associate buffets with. But after eating here, both me and my boyfriend have have the most violent stomach aches that we can remember and that's pretty rare for either of us. So unfortunately, due to feeling like utter death - I have to give Shinju a 1 star.

Their selection of food is magnificent with plenty to choose from. They have a sushi bar with everything your heart desires, Hibachi and many many more... They also give good service and are attentive to their clients. We go every 6 weeks or so. Saturday buffet starts at 5pm. Give them a try. See you soon ???

Not worth it, few options, too expensive (I paid $20) compared to other all you can eat places around with a lot more options and much better prices. Servers don't look happy. It's worth driving to Chow time for example.
