Not so sure why you would fry meat in the same grease as fish. The schnitzel was not that

We moved out of state a few years back. We had always enjoyed eating at the Vienna Wine Bar. Unfortunately, I can't say that about our experience on Saturday 3/16. We were a party of six, three salmon, two beef stroganoff and a chicken schnitzel. We waited about and hour twenty after ordering and when we got the food, all plates were barely warn, not hot at all. We probably would have sent them back if our inattentive waitress ever came back to check in a timely manner. When the manager came by we told him and he argued with us that he knew the wait for food was slightly less that an hour twenty because he saw the ticket. Either way it was well past an hour. Maybe the waitress put the ticket in late. Mr. manager, a great way to create customer satisfaction. The cold food tasted good except for the chicken which the waitress told us that the new owner changed the way it was made and she didn't like it. Maybe she could have told us that when we ordered. Overall a very disappointing experience. We won't be back because we don't live here anymore, but the other four do and I'm sure that they will be passing along how this restaurant has slipped. Overall a very poor experience based on the waitress, the kitchen and the manager. I usually don't like to take this much time to write about something, but as you can tell, it made a very bad impression of the Vienna Wine Bar. From other reviews it seems like a hit or miss. Let the buyer beware.Parking: Not so great.

It was our first time going to the restaurant. We went because of the reviews . We were a party of 6. Our food took a hour and when it arrived it was cold . The manager took care of the entire bill . We left Hungry. Do not recommend.

We have been dining here for years, a true gem and arguably the best kept secret in Broward County. Our waitress, Olivia was on point and so personable, what a pleasure to be served by her. The food was amazing, as always. Had the pleasure of speaking with the Assistant General Manager, Derek, you can see the passion for customer service in the way he works the dining room . We had a good talk about Pate and Bourbon. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have enjoyed Vienna Cafe & Wine Bar. However the noise level is very bad. The piano player singing sooooo loud has everyone talking loud at the tables. Something should be done about that. We will have to return on a day there is no live music. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. But the NOISE LEVEL poor.

Vienna Bar has been our "go to" restaurant for many years. The food was excellent quality, beautifully prepared and served by a knowledgeable professional staff. Regrettably this is no longer the case. I hosted a dinner party of 10 Wednesday, February 28th. One server was assigned to our table along with whatever other tables were in her section. Service was unreasonably slow - a 6:30 reservation with cocktails, appetizers and wine immediately ordered took over 45 minutes to arrive. One cocktail at a time, appetizers served at random intervals. Three orders of Foie Gras served in a soup bowl swimming on a grease laden piece of bread purporting in what was supposed to be a Brandied Cherry Demiglace. The special, a "Gypsy pork schnitzel" so over-cooked it was inedible. The salads and Filet of Beef Stroganoff were acceptable but the pork belly, oh my goodness. Nothing more than slices of bacon and chunks of pork (NOT pork belly) tossed in an industrial chili glaze served in a soup bowl. 5 of my guests and I are in the hospitality business. The crowning insult was our clearing our own plate between courses and pouring our own wine. Once so fond of this restaurant, we can never now recommend it to anyone.

Ever hopeful the mushroom friccasee (sp?) will return to the appetizer menu. I used to get it every time we dined at Vienna Wine Bar. The slice of birthday was delicious and appreciated. Thank you.

Vienna is a great place to grab a drink and have a nice meal with the family. We went to celebrate a birthday on a Friday night. They mixed a good drink, food was excellent, service was fantastic, and the ambiance was nice with the piano.

I had been there several times and always enjoyed the food and the outstanding service. This time I wanted to bring a friend that had never been there. She enjoyed the food and the ambiance as much as I did. We will be back soon.

Last night was our fourth visit but my first review of this amazing restaurant. Tucked away in a shopping plaza, you wouldn't know it was there. The restaurant is quaint, comfortable and makes you remember what old world customer service is all about. From the hostess Kathleen, to the managers Derek and Chris, to the server, Jordan. They all feel like they are owners or family of owners. The food is spectacular and the wine list is hard to beat. They also have a full bar. While you think Austrian food, which is true (and delicious) they also serve tremendous fish and steaks. Highly recommended!
