It was our first time trying and overall we enjoyed our meal. Lots of customization possible and we ended up with the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and baked beans for the side. The sandwich was on the smaller side but quite good. The mac and cheese was just ok but the baked beans were fantastic. Going again I would probably order two of the beans they were so good. The sandwich is served without sauce but they provide BBQ sauce on the tables for you to add yourself. I personally think it's better when the pork is cooked with the sauce since it covers it all.We also had the brisket platter with salad, beans, and corn bread as sides. The salad was ok but the corn bread was hard and not very good. Again the beans were definitely our favorite side. Overall it's a good option for BBQ.
Our first visit, couldn't have been more lovely. Between the 2 of us, we had the pulled pork and brisket. There was actually a choice of how we wanted our brisket! I am so fussy about my brisket and am often disappointed by many restaurants BUT, the brisket was absolutely perfect!. The sauce delicious as were the green beans, greens &fries. Staff was friendly and attentive. The icing on the cake was we got to sit outside on a gorgeous day. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience.
Normally visit the Orlando locations but I was in the Daytona area and decided to order. Ordered curbside.Had the brisket baked potato. It was pretty good. The burnt ends weren't the best. They forgot both sides for my kids's meals so we had to go back
Here for a Nascar race? This BBQ right across from the Daytona Speedway, is the bomb. Stopped in for a quick lunch and a couple of beers. Great food and wonderful staff. They hooked us up with a tasty suggestion for a sample of thier very best. The ribs are top notch. This is a must try.
We tried it and liked it. Very pleasant employees and food was pretty good. If you’re in the area it’s worth a try.
4 Rivers Smokehouse has such a wonderful backstory. If you visit, the highlight of what they are about is displayed on the wall. The food was quick and very good. It is a buffet style where you order and you see the staff choosing your options in front of you. we had the Messy Dog, 2x2 which is 2 meats and 2 sides. We also tried the cornbread, the Mac and Cheese and slaw and baked beans. Lastly we had the Messy Pig. It was a bit spicy and a large sandwich but quite delicious. I can safely say the food was mouthwatering.
We began loving 4 Rivers years ago when they were on the north side of Fairbanks in Winter Park. We were also delighted when they opened a location closer to our home in Daytona Beach. At first the quality was excellent. Our last three (and final) visits were big disappointments. Last evening we ordered four meals for dine-in. The mac and cheese was cold, the fries were mealy and cold, the brisket was tough, and the rice in two of our meals was so undercooked that it was crunchy and inedible. The time before that, my ribs looked like jerky on dried bones. Yes, in each case, we reported the problem, and they "fixed" it. But we won't try again. There are too many other good BBQ places around.
Just left 4 Rivers in Daytona Beach Florida. Have heard a lot about this place , and the sales rep at AT&T gave it a thumbs up.Sorry that Iistened. The chicken and rib combo was far from being cooked. I should have walked out and never return, or reommend to anyone. I asked for the manager, and expressed my concerns, and she replied that their meats are smoked and the red and pink color is the way we smoke meats. I expressed that I could not cut the meat with the plastic knife provided. At this point I took pictures, and stated that I would write a review.
The food was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the brisket! Service was quick and the folks working the counter were friendly and knowledgeable.
My wife and I were recently visiting Daytona Beach and we stopped by here for dinner one night. We were both really glad we did. The food was outstanding. We both had the burnt ends and they were great. They had plenty of sides to choice from. You stand in line to order your food and pay, then they bring you the food when it is ready.
The chicken could’ve been seasoned more. The cornbread could’ve been more moist. It didn’t taste fresh. The baked beans were really good, and the service was good.
The atmosphere is casual the food was delicious and the staff was a mix of kind and helpful and just plain rude.
Awesome food and service is great!
Excellent food and friendly staff
