My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Bogey's today. I had the panko crusted fish sandwich with sweet potato fries. My wife had a Philly Cheesesteak. We split some fried green tomatoes and a slice of key lime pie. Everything was delicious and the people were very friendly. Our waiter, Larry did an excellent job. By the way, their key lime pie is not as dense as some and incredible.

Impeccable service from the moment we walked through the door, great atmosphere, and fantastic food. We forgot to take photos of our entrées but did get one of dessert. We will definitely be back if we ever travel through Defuniak Springs again.

What a charming restaurant. Staff very attentative. As non locals we were treated like family. The fish in all their dishes are fresh grouper. I had grouper almandine and my husband had Lorenzo. We loved our meals. It was cold so no drinks on the upper deck. Would highly recommend if you are in the Defuniak Springs area.

Ate here awhile back. I ordered the fish almondine I believe. I asked the waiter to bring a glass of white wine 5-10 minutes prior to the order arriving. He brought it out 15 minutes after the order arrived and I was almost done eating my entree. I refused the wine as I wanted it to complement the entree. He seemed upset, but oh well. The female mgr didn't seem to care as she never visited any of the tables while I was there and was too busy talking with the waitstaff. I've been a restaurant mgr for over 8+ years and have been a mgr at finer restaurants than this and I must say the management here sucks!!! Might go back as I here their burgers are good but otherwise...no thanks and it is basically the nicest restaurant in town. What a shame
The servers are nice. The atmosphere is cute. The food is really hit or miss.. The prices are priced for an upscale place, but the cuisine is not upscale. The blue cheese dressing is really good.
