Maoz Vegetarian - Falafel, Mediterranean, Healthy Vegan (Delray Beach)

This restaurant was the best but it closed at Boca Mall, at Delray Beach too which is very sad.

I had a hard time understanding the gentleman making my dinner. What I ordered was OK but seemed very small for the $17.00 I was charged. The veggies didn’t seem very fresh. I really wanted to love it.

If there were a way to leave a minus one star we would’ve done so. We had a horrible experience never got our food and were charged.There was only One person in the entire store, cooking and taking orders, after 20 minutes our order was not ready, and after we asked 4 times when it will be ready, he pretended not to hear us continued to take other orders & serve those.The owner Refuses to call us and the franchisee head person we spoke to told me that he’s trying to shut down that location because of numerous complaints. We will be reporting this incident and others that we observed to hire authorities and hope that this store location will be shut down since the other locations serve good food, and good service . Unacceptable behavior by store employee, and we hope to prevent this from happening to any of you out there

Terrible awful service. They have no idea what’s going on and they don’t care. They Have items on their website that they don’t have and when you go to pick them up, they act like they don’t care. We’ll see if I end up with a refund or not.

What a joke. They advertise in a coupon booklet that has to be purchased. They place a coupon for people to get 5 falafel with purchase of equal or greater value. Good till December of 2024. I went there today, May 7th 2024, and a guy who speaks zero English used Google translate to tell me the coupon is no longer valid. I asked why and he stared at me and said nothing. Didn't even try to translate a reason. Then after a bit did read the Google translate he already read. Again I asked why. He said nothing and just stared at me. I walked out and said I'd never be back there. He speaks zero English so I doubt he knew what I said. I was a regular at the store in Boca for 20 years. But don't go to that mall anymore. Went out of my way to go to the Delray location because of the coupon, only to deal with this nonsense. Please explain why you do this false advertising. The coupon clearly states the Delray location and is valid till the end of the year.

Maoz is more than a restaurant to me, I spent so much time and money there. PLENTY of options, delicious food, kind staff, no complaints!!

The lady working today was amazing it is rare for me to think someone is too good for their job but she will rise quickly in her career. Food is really good, as expected from Maoz. Kosher certified.

Was not my first time ordering from Maoz however this time we ordered a fairly big group order through Uber Eats- I'm not sure if it was a glitch in the system but I called the restaurant once we realized we were missing some things, spoke with the owner who was 100% understanding apologetic. Owner himself delivered our missing items in an extremely timely manner, excellent communication. Everyone loved their food, everything was fresh, and the service was outstanding. Thank you Maoz! 10/10 recommend. Will absolutely order from you again.

Unfortunately when I arrived, the 2 customers ahead of me both had issues with their orders however, the staff did remedy the issue the best they could. One customer said the smoothie was better at their other location, so that did stop me from ordering one. The falafel and hummus was delicious but not a huge fan of the sides available. I will be back just for the hummus and falafel

If you're looking for healthy Mediterranean food, look no further. The food is sooooo fresh.The falafel is crisp and not greasy. The babaghanoush is sweet and smoky. The hummus is perfection. And the homemade mint-ginger iced tea is a delicious treat without any added sweeteners.I got a falafel salad bowl and added the babaghanoush. There were two green sauces -- the hot one is REALLY hot. LOL.I also tried their lentil soup; it was like something my grandmother would whip up -- you can taste the love.Great place to stop by on your way home from the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean with indoor and outdoor tables.
