Had better burger. Not worth the long wait outside. Not that much flavor & a bit greasy which I don't mind greasy burgers but needs more flavor. With the reviews we expected more.

Overall I'd give this place a 5 if the service wasn't so poor. It's slow and inefficient, with frequent forgetting of items.The food however is delicious and extremely cheap. Think McDonald's cheap but even cheaper. The quality is good and portions are great. We spent about $10/pp and left full.The overall dining area is clean as well as restroom. Parking is easy.Really wish I could give it a 5 but the wait time to even get the check is crazy. Took almost 15 minutes of standing at the counter in front of 3 waitresses to just pay the bill and leave.I'll come back some time and hopefully can bump this to a 5. We came on a week day, I'd hate to see it on a weekend.Parking: Easy parkingKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Just had the best breakfast! Super filling and really good prices for the portions you get. Everything tasted amazing and the service was fantastic! We’re all the way from Michigan and will definitely make the trip back since the staff were so friendly! We’ll have to try the burgers next time too!

Ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger w/fries from their lunch menu. Food, burger patty was very large, so the food to value ratio already started on a good note, although due to large size it was very noticeable that the patty itself lacked seasoning as well as was a bit over cooked so the patty wasn't as juicy as I would've liked it to be. Second, the toppings on the burger were Fresh and ideal for relatively normal toppings (tomato, lettuce, onions, pickle and mayo), along with the normal toppings, the bacon definitely didn't fall short, it was the optimal size for the size of the burger, only thing I would have wanted from it was maybe just one more slice. Fries were fried to perfection, some of the best crinkle cut fries I've ever tasted, the perfect golden color with the best crispy outside. In addition to the fries, we were brought an orange house sauce that went with the fries very well and could definitely be put on the burger if you desired. Notation: 7 does not exist on my 1-10 scale. Burger- 6.8/10 Fries- 10/10 Service 9.2/10, was very good, we were checked on multiple times, everyone was extremely friendly. Food came at a rapid pace, I almost didn't even notice that I was waiting for food. The group that I was also teased a bit by the waiter, which just made us feel part of a family. Couldn't help to enjoy the energy of local restaurant, location is small but feels cozy and welcoming thanks to the staff.

The management team from Borem Fire Protection recently took a lunch at S&L. The service was personable and the food was very good! These burgers are serious and you will get messy eating them.We found the decor to be a bit busy and the seating to be pretty tight. Not enough of a bother to not go back sometime.

Love this classic diner noted for great burgers and down-home service. Cash only. Get there early or late. Gets crowded. I just wish they would cook bacon more on bacon burger. Ordered today, asked for bacon to be cooked hard. It came soggy. What's so difficult about cooking bacon hard? I pulled it off and left in basket. Hope someone notices.

The food was good and I liked the decor with all the license plates on the wall. Our food which was hamburger and fries and BLT took 32 minutes to get once we found a place to sit. This being my first time i wasn't aware that there are tables that are reserved for certain customers. Now this is a very small place of business and alot of the people who come there are workers in the area. I tried to sit at a table that did not have a reserve sign on it and was told by i belive a waitress named Jenny no you can't sit there these three men are going to take that table, she wasn't to nice. And me being my first time was like wow. So between the attitude of the waitress and the time the food took to get to us and being packed in so tight together with others I would not return.
