Neighborhood family owned Italian restaurant with high quality food and fun atmosphere. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal with the exception of the person who had the salmon. They said it was dry and the vegetables seemed old and dried out. Great Tiramisu though.

My family and I are from Canada. We were in fort Lauderdale Florida when we decided to have dinner with our family at this restaurant.I cannot tell you people, just how amazing the food there is. It is truly authentic Italian from The amazing handmade pasta, to there real Italian homemade bread. These are just a few items and, trust me there are many more items that I completely enjoyed. We in Canada do not have the privilege to have such an authentic restaurant Italian restaurant anywhere in Canada. The customer service is next level .

I am posting 2 pictures because I came back! Having limited days in Fort Lauderdale i couldn’t stop thinking about this place.Cozy Italian dinner place with amazing welcoming atmosphere. I was at the bar and Sophia helped me with wine recommendation. My food was amazing and heartwarming. I was alone and had best evening ever. Also Sophia recommended me a bunch of places to go out and was super helpful and friendly! Thank you! I am planning to go back on my next visit!

It's truly disappointing to write this review after having such a wonderful experience just last week. Initially, we were thrilled to stumble upon this charming Italian restaurant. The warm welcome and delectable food left us eager to share our five-star experience with others. However, our recent visit was a stark contrast. The food, though seemingly the same, lacked its previous flair and quality. Additionally, the atmosphere felt tense, with staff appearing to be in a sour mood. Despite these setbacks, we must commend the bartender for crafting a delicious Mojito that briefly lifted our spirits.Regrettably, the overall experience left much to be desired, prompting us to reconsider future visits. It's disheartening to see such a decline in what was once a cherished find.

Great food but very loud and busy which means service is slow. Happy hour is amazing but once again SOOOOO CROWDED not fun.

The host was a bit bitter, but the service was really good. The place was extremely loud on Saturday (even outside)We ordered 2 dishes:- An octopus starter: it was extremely salty. Wouldn't recommend it and because I only ordered that I was charged more than the menu said- Pesto chicken pasta: the pesto was not traditional. It looked like it had cream. But the pasta was really good and tasted homemade. We also had the tiramisu. It was good, but, again felt non traditional because it seemed more whipped cream than mascarpone.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free options

We needed a halfway point to see friends coming from Miami for dinner. Based on reviews, we chose Dal Contadino Trattoria. We are so glad we did! Not only did the cuisine far exceed our expectations, but our server Sophia made our meal comfortable and even more more enjoyable. Her suggestion of wine was wonderful and at half price on Tuesday you can’t beat it! My dish of homemade gnocchi with truffle sauce was outrageously good, as well as the appetizers, artichokes and stuffed zucchini flowers. You could tell the pasta was homemade and when a restaurant brings out homemade bread, it’s always a good start. The pistachio cheesecake for dessert was just enough and delicious. Despite the hour drive, we will return -Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere! We felt like we were in an Italian home. Minus one star for the slow service. We waiting awhile before our orders were taken. Minus another star because three out of five of us weren’t impressed with the dishes we ordered. Excellent meatballs and delicious flounder piccata atop artichoke cream. I highly recommend those dishes. We had a good time there.

This used to be our go to Italian restaurant but after the last two visits, we need to find a new one. Both our pastas were overcooked, bolognese sauce was watery tomato that seemed be from a can. Very disappointing that we have to find a new Italian in FLL

Wow always busy. They do have a HH only at bar. had a reservation for 6 o'clock had a couple of drinks I knew I wanted the lamb chops before I got there. Italian bread is homemade, but they don't have butter, but they do give you the oil and vinegar and of course the grated cheese. G had the eggplant which was also layered with/ mortadella. Large piece . Place was pack By the time we left.
