I've been driving by this restaurant for the 25 years I've lived in Ft Lauderdale. I finally gave it a try on 2/3/24. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night and 3 tables were occupied. In the beginning we had great service from the male server. We ordered an appetizer and entree. The server asked if we wanted it all at once or one at a time. We chose one at a time. While we waited for the appetizer another staff member brought us warm pita. There is olive oil at the table for one to dip it in.We received the Arayes appetizer 10 minutes after ordering it. It was delicious.This is when things went downhill. We waited one hour after receiving the appetizer to receive the Shawarma entree. While sitting there waiting for the entree, the staff ignored us for 45 minutes. The male who refills waters checked on us and said our entree will be out shortly. Then the female owner checked on us and said it would be coming up soon. Then the male server came to our table and told us we never ordered the Shawarma and now the owner is yelling at him because we told her we were waiting on our entree. It was so unprofessional. The entree came out about 10 minutes after the server spoke with us.The owner never apologized for the mistake or acknowledged it. The entree was delicious too, but I am staying with the 1 star rating due to the terrible and unprofessional service. They automatically add 18% gratuity to the bill, which we did pay, but felt it should have been removed.

Hands down the best gyro, falafel, fatoosh, baba ghanoush, and saute mushrooms in town. Compared to the Greek restaurants this Labenese restaurant had the best flavors and cooked to perfection. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Place was just OK. They did have a good special, forget what its called, but you get a whole bunch of kebabs, and dips to share. Only $50.for two people. But there are much better options in area.

What a great experience. Top notch service. Great food and a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The hummus was excellent. They have a smoked eggplant hummus they gave us a sample of, and it was amazing. I'm looking forward to going back really soon. They also have dancers on the weekend, but from what I have heard, they are very busy on weekends.

Got food from here awhile ago with my family. The food was fantastic & the owner was very friendly & conversational while we waited for our food to be ready. I definitely want to come back & try out more of the menu.
They scam customers by adding 20% of tip to your bill without your consent. Who gives you the right to do this? Not going back nor am I going to recommend your restaurant to anyone. Good bye forever!

Adding 18% tip for a party of 2 people and not letting me know is nothing but SCAM! Isn't it good enough that I decided to eat at your establishment? Apparently not.Our $73 total bill became a $105 bill only because I did not pay attention when I tipped additional 18%. And this is exactly what restaurant staff expect you to do. No wonder this restaurant was completely empty on the Saturday night @ 7 PM. This tipping/stealing practice should be illegal everywhere!It is not about money, it's about principal and the way you made it happen MR. Fredo! Stealing from your customer is not right thing to do. I will never go back!
