Wowwwww! Just wow! Everytime I eat at Moksha on Oakland Park Blvd in Fort Lauderdale I'm even more impressed! Had the butter chicken and crab garlic rice. Also had olive and cheese Naan that was incredible ? Great service too!
This is the absolute best Indian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. We had the tandoori octopus and it was the best octopus we ever had
Excellent food. Actually if you would like the best Indian food in Florida you should definitely go to Moksha.
The food was fantastic! The Service was very good as well. Loved it! Highly recommended!
Excellent food and service! We are newer to Indian food, and we love discovering the different flavors and foods. We are continually thrilled with the quality
Florida can get humid, after 2 hours spent lazing at the beach trying my best to do a doggy crawl swim against the waves, I realized it was time for swimming classes. However, all that paddling builds up quite an appetite and it was to my surprise I found a restaurant within walking distance from the beach which had the name 'Moksha' in it coupled with brassiere. Genuinely curious as to see how transcendent their cuisine would get, I walked and was welcomed into a fine dinning atmosphere with décor and a sense of modern ambience I wasn't used to in most Indian restaurants. Shortly after I was seated I started talking to the manager Gilbert and realized that his Goan heritage meant they had to have had a great spicy Vindaloo. We kept chatting about the embossed well written menu, and I noticed that all the dishes had a sense of original creativity to them while remaining true to the authenticity of the region the dish was from. I spent the next 2 hours sampling and eating my way through the menu with friendly commentary from Gilbert about the rich history behind each dish and the regions in India it came from. I have only highlighted favorite dishes and the Lemon Rice really hit the spot as a main course with the Kerala style red pepper prawn curry, followed by the Goan style prawn curry served with gluten free Naan. Yes, this is the only Indian restaurant I have come across where it has an entire gluten free vegan menu, which is shocking and incredibly smart. Add that to excellent customer service and incredibly fresh tasting big prawn and other dishes made to order, I realized I may have to come back to Fort Lauderdale to enjoy fine dining with Indian cuisine with dishes from all over India. The pièce de résistance was the paan flavored ice cream with a rose flavored sweet mix on top. I didn't get to try the Tandoor octopus but it is going to have to wait for my next trip here, and true to its name, this restaurant frees you from the mindless masses of curry houses you find all over the world to a truly transcendent experience. #Indian #finedining #transcendence #fortlauderdale
Stopped in for lunch and was delightfully surprised. The set up inside is very modern and luxurious. Very different from your typical Indian restaurant. The chicken tikka flavor was a little different from what I usually find at Indian restaurants, but it was nothing short of delicious. Few pieces of chicken inside of it and I understand it’s good for the price, but I don’t think folks would mind a slight price increase with more chicken. The plain naan was a bit thin, the cheese naan was excellent. Overall good food and look forward to visiting during next trip.
Great ambiance and food! It’s a must try.
Lovely experience. Restaurant was quiet for a Friday night - perhaps the paid metered parking scares patrons away? Service was good - not overly attentive but enough employees walking around that if we needed something we could get it. Food was very good - olive naan was the best we had. Nice wine selection and overall a nice experience.
Creative, flavorful and authentic Indian cuisine for sure. The service and customer value are impeccable. A definite new spot for my food rounds. A must visit
The service is remarkable (Mick is great) and the owner is friendly and a gracious host. The food is extraordinary. Mmmmm
Great food, awesome atmosphere. A must try.
Absolutely excellent. We had a goat dish and lamb dish. We will definitely be back.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was well above expectations. The chicken tikka masala was the best I've ever had and I've been traveling globally for 26 years. The naan was a dream and we selected three different types. This is a great place for a work lunch as it was not to loud.
