FINALLY, real brown STEWED chicken. Wonderful genuine husband and wife owners. The cabbage was outstanding. I got a small brown stew chicken and I could barely finish it. Nice pieces of stewed drumsticks and thighs, not fried and no back bones. The pineapple jerk sauce is a must. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Next is the oxtails, I can’t wait.

I recently visited Reggae Roots Jamaican restaurant and was blown away by the authentic flavors and warm ambiance. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the inviting aroma of traditional Jamaican spices, instantly transporting me back to the island.I ordered the escoveiched fish, and let me tell you, it was a taste of home like no other. The fish was perfectly cooked and smothered in a tangy and flavorful escoveiched sauce that danced on my taste buds with every bite. The dish was served with sides of rice and peas, which were cooked to perfection, and plantains that added a delightful sweetness to the meal. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.Reggae Roots Jamaican restaurant truly captures the essence of Jamaican cuisine, and I can't wait to return to try more of their delicious offerings. If you're craving authentic Jamaican flavors or simply want to experience a taste of the island, this is the place to be. Five stars all around!

I purchased a brown stew snapper with rice and peas, plantain and cabbage with a Ting that cost $44.00. The snapper was very small. I could count the peas in the rice and to add to disappointment they only gave me one napkin and when I asked for more I was given two more. It felt like JA with the one napkin.

My wife and I were in the area looking for a bite. Faith lead us to this amazing restaurant where we were able to dine in and enjoy their delicious beef patty, curry goat and fry chicken. Not only was the food amazing but the service was excellent, the owner took the time to offer us to sample his signature pineapple jerk sauce. If you’re looking for good food and a great atmosphere this is the place to be. We will definitely will return.

This will be my second time at Reggae Roots and wow!! I must say the experience was just as amazing as my first. I have tried the jerk chicken which was fall off the bone good and super moist as well as the curried goat which was packed with amazing flavor and spice. Only had jerk chicken, pork, oxtail, curry goat, more than 60 % of the menu was not available, one customer walk out because of this, another customer got jerk pork and asked for jerk sauce because the pork was dry and was told there is no sauce available, you have buy a bottle, i spent almost $24, got 2 of the smallest plantain i have ever seen, i got one teaspoon of unseason cabbage, i ordered a medium i might as well had gotten a small, the rice tasted like it was made the day before, i didn't hate the pork, the chicken was just ok, I wasted my money and time, as a Jamaican i really wanted to enjoy this but never again, the only upside is the place was clean

We really enjoyed our visit to Reggae Roots Jamaican Restaurant! The food was so delicious and served on beautiful wooden plates and bowls. The chef grew up in Jamaica and is very gifted, so it was excellent and authentic. The hostess was a delight to meet and so welcoming. We also loved the ethnic worship music in the background. It was just the right volume to add a happy, groovy atmosphere but not hinder conversation.Vegetarian options: Curried chickpeas, vegetables, rice, plantainsParking: Convenient parking lot right in front of the restaurant

This place is friggin amazinggggg. First time here, came with my daddio who was in town visiting from Philly and wanted some authentic Jamaican jerk chicken. Well he sure got it! The lady who helped us (I didn’t get her name unfortunately) was soooo nice!!! And she gave us a sample of the goat while we waited and oh my lawd that was amazing!!!!! So already going back for the goat. We got curry chicken and jerk chicken to go and wow…the chicken just falls off the bone and is beyond tender and full of flavor. She also gave us a few sides of extra jerk sauce which is phenomenal!!! The photos are a size large but after we ate some, we got too excited and ate before I took the pictures haha this place is amazing I can’t wait to go back!!!
