Perfection. Every single dish was innovative , approachable and delicious.We were furtunate to sit at the counter and witness chef Abbot lead his entire extremely talented Team thru out the evening with assertive kindness, that itself was the real treat . The tasting menu is the obvious choice if you want to be impressed .My husband and I travel the world in search of innovative food……we have found it in Fort Lauderdale.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant and staff were extremely accommodating.

10/10 Experience! Wow we really had the best time. Service with Anselm was excellent. The food is refined and every bite infused with flavor. We started with the stracciatella and beef tartar. For mains the table split the cowboy ribeye, bologonese pappardelle, tile fish and duck! We eat a lot of steak and that has to be one of the best steaks out in a long time. The refresh on this space is stunning. The restaurant feels elevated and airy. I wouldn’t be surprised if they received a Michelin star.

I searched this restaurant on Google and many reviews said it was good. I don’t know if it was reviewed by my own reviewers. When we entered the restaurant to dine, it was really uncomfortable. The service was poor and we waited for an hour before the beef main course was served. The beef main course was US$48 for 6oz. The portion was pitifully small. Bread for starters costs $6. If you want to fill your stomach and have a more comfortable dinner, don’t go here.

Think about the best meal you’ve ever had.. and now forget it. You’ve not had the best meal you’ve ever had until you’ve come to Val+Tino.The food is otherworldly. I have never had such an amazing culinary experience before, especially in Fort Lauderdale.I highly recommend for special occasions (anniversary, birthday, etc) and for an intimate date night as well. Family time works too!The portions are perfect. The staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. From the moment you pull up to the moment you leave.The Chefs, sous chefs and supporting staff are always smiling and you can tell they really love what they do, as it translates into the beauty and taste of the food here.I would give 15 stars if I could.

The BEST restaurant in Broward County. My wife and I discovered this place about 2 weeks ago... We've been there 3 times since. We are originally from NYC and have had a real hard time finding great food in Fort Lauderdale, but we've finally found it.Chef Jake and Chef Giovanni send out exceptional dishes from the open kitchen while Elke makes you feel right at home. We love sitting at the chef's counter to watch the team at work. I'm a pretty good cook and I hate going to a restaurant and being served a meal that I could have made better myself. That was not even in the realm of possibility here. These guys are at the top of their game.The foie gras with huckleberry is so absurdly good that we ordered a second portion. The pasta's are all excellent. The seafood bolognese was very unique and delicious. The scallop is cooked to perfection and perfectly balanced so that the truffle doesn't overwhelm the dish. The caviar is served with these blinis that are really more like these little, delicately made crepes which served as the perfect vessel to hold the caviar, crème fraiche and watercress zabaglione. I couldn't eat it fast enough so I had to remind myself to slow down and savor it. The duck and the steak were both impeccably prepared in terms of temperature and seasoning. Desserts are out of this world. Our waiter was smiling, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I could go on and on but you're better off checking it out yourself.This is a very welcomed culinary oasis right in our backyard.

Best chef in Fort Lauderdale reopens new place old spot and serves me dishes that blew my mind. Don’t dare fade the duck breast. Everything was spot on. Perfectionist and master chef. Lots of old faces from the staff was really great to see. Big props on that. Can’t wait to go back. A must.Parking: Pull down the side street after the restaurant.

This place is unreal. The atmosphere is new and chic, it feels like a place that's been open for 50 years, and like the hot new secret in town. The chef isincredible, but the bartender is a GENIUS. Ian made me the best drinks I've ever had, I'll be back soon with friends and with family.

The long awaited reincarnation of the much admired Valentino will not be found at the new Val+Tino, to the dismay of this reviewer. Yes, it was good to see familiar faces. Yes, the service and food were good. Gone, though, was the exquisiteness of Valentino. Different ambience, louder music, and sadly, a much more dressed down crowd - gone is the dress code for a night out to dinner.The wine selection is broad and very affordable and it balances nicely against what the new Val+Tino appears to want to be; a pricey neighborhood joint serving the RV locals.

This is probably the worst meal I’ve ever had. The pizza is overpriced, actually looks good at a glance by completely blend. My second slice tasted for some reason tasted a bit spoiled (slices are not fresh) and a drunk looking chef walking around. The only savers, the great waitress with a cool vibe and the $3 beer offer. I’m obviously not returning, the sight of the dirty Corona ridden looking chef and the missing chicken wings from their freezer is infuriating (the cheapest plate). Heading out to Walgreens now for Tums and Corona testing. Two thumbs down, get it together Valentin...

The special appetizers were fabulous. The entrees were amazing. I am a pescatarian and the seafood pasta was one of the best I have ever eaten. Our wait staff was above fabulous. Mark was attentive and mad our visit and my birthday truly special. Highly recommended.
