We just came back from a five-day trip to Fort Myers Beach, and SOB’s quickly became our go-to spot — we ate there four times! That should tell you everything, but it’s worth sharing just how incredible this place is.
First, a big shout-out to Chef Miguel — his food is simply outstanding. Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The scallops were cooked to perfection, tender and absolutely delicious. The Smashburger deserves its own mention — hands down the best I’ve ever had, juicy and full of flavor. And the seafood overall? Truly top-notch, fresh, and prepared with such care that it rivaled fine dining experiences we’ve had elsewhere.
On top of the food, the service made each visit memorable. Grace and Manny went above and beyond to make us feel welcome every single time. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly — it felt like we were dining with old friends.
SOB’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s the kind of place you look forward to going back to before you even leave. If you’re in Fort Myers Beach, don’t miss it.

If you are looking for a great place to eat, the smoking oyster brewery is the place.The local bar and restaurant, are far better than most of the so called high class places, plus the food,service and price are great. Will return soon

I can not give this place enough stars, Kevin is the world's best bartender, and if you really want some groovy moves catch Jean behind the bar managing, always good vibes, and great food. Definitely worth snagging a seat regardless of how busy the service is always immaculate.

hands down the best bar I've found amazing food amazing drinks and amazing people if your looking for a family friendly place to stop by and get some food after a long day at the beach here is your spot. stop and see the bartender Kevin dude runs circle around other bartenders. ever wonderful host and Jean the manger she is a peach and a hoot to talk to. you could talk to anyone and you'd have a wonderful time stop by grab some great food like you'll order the whole menu after watching the food come out of the kitchen

Okay where to start so found this bar randomly one night and met the bartender Kevin. Hands down the best bartender I've ever had he's got magic powers or something knows when I want a new drink or when I'm ready to be done. But I'm glad evee (I believe how you spell it) was working the door bc she grabbed my attention and got me in their. So right off the bat Kevin and evee and then BOOM here comes miss jean once you meet her your gonna be asking her to be your boss. You can see where everyone gets their cheer from. And now the food.... Omg where else can you find food this fresh and amazing if you eat with your eyes do not I repeat DO NOT watch the kitchen bc they put out 5 star food like you'll order the whole menu bc everything is perfect. My opinion stop by grab a beer try a app you'll probably see me my new regular spot well worth it amazing prices too (had to add)

Great food and service, Claudine is definitely one of the best servers we have had on the beach. We are locals so we definitely will be back for smash burgers and Claudines 5 star service!!!
