Looks like management team has changed. Liked the mix match options for Indian and Mexican dishes to go and shorter wait time! Nicely located on 41 with plenty of parking for a quick in and out visit. Plan to go whenever I would be in that area!

They have new management. We went for the grand opening and had a great time. They had a buffet with Mexican and Indian food. I only had the Indian food, and I must say it was delicious! The butter chicken was on point. The service was also great. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great service, but you get almost no meat on the Mexican style taco, there was more cilantro and onions than meat. Also came with no lime!!

Very disappointing. Only 3 tables had people at them, yet it took forever to get served. Would never go back!

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night. We came in and sat down and it was at least 10 minutes before we ever even saw an employee. She finally came over and handed us some worn out dirty menus. We ordered guacamole and chips to start. It was a bowl full of some kind of soupy avocado mixture and came with a small amount of chips. It had an odd flavor and was not good. We did not receive any chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants offer. Two of us had the fish tacos which came with some fried shrimp on the side and French Fries. Not sure why tacos do not come with rice & beans. The "fish taco" was one small piece of fried fish, not even as long as the tortilla, with a little cabbage and a lot of sauce. Not good. The fried shrimp were really just some breading and a tail. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because the prices are low, our beer was cold and my husband had chicken enchiladas that he enjoyed. The service was not good and the place could use a deep cleaning.

While my wife has no trace of Mexican DNA, I actually had her DNA tested as her love of Mexican food is hard to be best. She's originally from Des Moines, Iowa not from Guadalajara! It's safe to say, I've learned the difference of a good taco over a bad taco from the love of my life. I forgot. In Des Moines they get a Taco Pizza from gas stations. Amazingly great! Now, on to the review. Fresh ingredients. That's it. That's the secret. This restaurant cares for the freshness They also care about flavor. There is no way to go wrong here. Also, the prices are great. I just had a taco at s fancy place in Six Mike Cypress that cost $4 each that was so bad that I had to ask the server to take it back. It would be a rare case at Casa Viva. Run don't walk to this place. Also great for students with tight budgets. Please support this locally owned bu

We found this place by accident searching for food yesterday. We are vegan and I am gluten-free. What a pleasant surprise it was!! My daughter, who doesn't really like beans, went crazy over the retried beans and even took some to go. She is begging to go back to this place today. The guacamole was the best I have ever eaten in my life. It is so fresh and light - without a heavy onion flavor, which keeps me away from most guacamole. The service was amazing and we can't wait to go back. It is a super value spot. Don't sleep in this place if you are in the area!

Terrible service and not real authentic Mexican food. Prices are cheap but you pay for what you get terrible food for low price!!! Also the owner was there a little short skinny guy yelling at one of his female workers and then yelling and swearing on the phone. So unprofessional and disrespectful. If you are a woman or have children don't go here for fear of being disrespected or your children hearing profanity.

This is now my new favorite taco/Mexican food place. The food is amazing and prices were great, too.

The service was fast and nice. The restaurant was clean. They use ketchup instead of tomatoes in the ceviche, whyyyy?

The food was very good, the beer was cold. Nothing but smiles. They can't do enough for you and your dinning experience.
