The owner Abby is a awesome friend now. Latin night is popping people. Lol. I love it.

Not sure if the restaurant is still open. It said they were open the other day and when I stopped by they were closed. Unfortunately the phone number doesn’t work either so I can’t call them.I used to eat here all the time when I lived in Fort Myers. Some of the best food around! If the owner sees this please respond with a working phone number so we can call in and check if you’re open.

Unfortunately, my experience with sabor Latino was quite negative and unpleasant. Meals at lunch were overpriced. One small mofongo about a cip size steak was $19,99. What bothers me is that a small sancocho was $14.99 and served quite not hot and small pernil was $12,99. My wife and me are troubled and dissapointed with the staff that does not see this issue at hand. Spoke w owner and promised to fixed the problem but does not see the whole issue w the the overpriced meals specially at lunch which should have been more reduced and reasonably priced. Hope this help them improve their service and get customer satisfaction. We are not recommending this restaurant till they change their policy and priced reasonably . We are from the NE and had better food and more priced reasonably.

Not sure why it’s highly rated. Maybe it was an off day or something, but the arroz con gandules barely had gandules or really any flavor. The pollo guisado was extremely salty that even with mixing it with some rice still couldn’t be salvaged enough to eat. The pernil looked good until you go to eat it which had no flavor. I don’t know if they put the salt in the chicken instead of the pernil. There simply was no flavor on their food. Portion size is appropriate for the price, but neither does any good if it’s not flavorful or just salty.
