Well, I have to say that the first time was a lot better than today. For starters, I order the heart of palms ceviche and the brought me shrimp whatever. The server told me that was the only ceviche they had. First and foremost, traditional ceviche is supposed to have ‘leche de tigre’, which this one didn’t have (refer to the pictures). The bottom was more like a guacamole than anything else and the shrimps were…shrimps. The plate itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I ordered. The salmon was ok. Yeap, you read right, just ok. The need of cilantro rice is probably the best I’ve had in a long time, while the stir fry vegetables rate among the worst I’ve ever had.All that said, I’m giving them another chance. The service was attentive, but she completely disregarded the fact that I told her I ordered the heart of palm ceviche, and didn’t even offer to bring me something else in return or simply refund me the money. That said, being a business owner I’m not a huge fan of refunding, unless is absolutely necessary, but at least offer something in return even if it’s just an apology.Cool and creative menu items, decent service, nice patio/bistro like area, but some items can be be done better.

Nice patio atmosphere. I can see where the kitchen is trying to put out a quality product. Unfortunately the consistency is not there and the service is typical Gainesville amateur hour. I gave three stars instead of two because... well, Gainesville. It's interesting that Athens Georgia gets cited as a twin/sister city to Gainesville, but Athens year after year seems to have a true affinity for service and the dining experience. You get your silverware with or before the food comes out as opposed to after, food is cooked properly as opposed to overcooked mushy pasta and overcooked meats. In other words, the basics are done right. Seems mostly like a management and training problem. anyhow, I'll try Cintrón again in a couple months and see if things have turned around. I really do hope them luck moving forward.

Cintron serves wonderful and unusual food choices. It took us a while to decide what each of us wanted and all of it was good.

Hidden away in a lovely shopping plaza in Gainesville. We decided this is our lunch spot today with our dog. Since it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the patio was quite empty, but it was a beautiful crisp winter day, sun streaming, in plenty of places to sit . We started with the Peruvian eggrolls. Most delicious my must try. Quesadilla, fish, tacos, Tostones , along with a Cuban dip sandwich. Our server Sam was excellent. The food was beyond delicious, fresh, hot and so beautifully presented. Most enjoyable food, great service, beautiful patio to sit on and please don't leave without getting yourself a strong cup of Cuban coffee.

Street corn avocados, shrimp ceviche special, and mofongo special were really good. Initially disappointed that they were out of duck and churrasco, but the replacements they suggested were so good. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food at very reasonable prices. They have a large selection of vegetarian options and the parking is great. I had the Brussels brava and sautéed spinach which were both delicious. The portions are so large I had to take some food home. The restaurant has a nice decor and is not noisy. The service was great and I look forward to coming back to try more of their menu.

Nopal by Cintrón & this Cintrón location are different! Dos restaurantes con nombres parecidos. Both offer the same great options although this menu seemed to have less variety, it was given. Highly recommend. The food was as expected from latin-american cuisine. Ambiance is proudly latin inspired. Ate lunch outdoors which was aesthetically pleasing.

I got the grilled chicken sandwich that was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend as I will be going back
