First time trying & our thoughts:1. Staff are pleasant2. Atmosphere is take out not eat in3. Food….we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, & Veggie Biryani (all were mild spice)Chicken Tikka Masala is ok - more on the tomato side with a kick of spice. Butter Chicken is the way to go - interestingly very light & wonderful flavor & we have leftovers so looking forward to that. No go on the Biryani - not a good flavor at all.If we get take out again it will be Butter Chicken & of course Naan.

I frequent this restaurant often, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent, offering a wide array of vegetarian and meat options to suit all preferences. The service is exceptionally friendly, making it a delightful spot to meet with friends or colleagues. Convenient parking adds to the overall convenience. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: The food is consistently excellent, offering a wide array of over a dozen vegetarian options, all of which I've tried and found to be superb. Personal favorites include the Veggie Makhani, Palak Paneer, Mattar Mushroom, and Rajma Masala.
Kabab House is the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to. We used to live right outside Washington DC and thought we had good Indian food there. Kabab House blows it all away. I always get the Chicken Korma Curry and Palak paneer. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the food, even as someone who can’t handle spicy food I’ve had many wonderful meals here that give me a taste of a foreign land, a full belly & plenty of money left to tip my wonderful servers!!
Food didn’t taste good, the place was dirty (especially bathroom). Small portions, high price. This was the first time we visited and we will not be retuning, the experience was that disappointing.

My Gainesville friends and I have loved Kabab House for over a decade, from University Ave, to 13th St, to 34th St. We always order the butter chicken with extra naan, which is buttery, warm, and delicious!

Update: five months later and we still come specifically to Gainesville (over a hour away) for Kabab House. We’ve tried other places and are disappointed when the food isn’t as good and the guy isn’t as nice.Fantastic!
Food was above average but the service was below average. The waitress was little rude and restaurant seems non Indian. The place smells like rotten eggs or something similar. Need to have Health inspection happen soon.
