Went with a friend; the server was very friendly and the food was great! Honestly, a little pricey in my opinion but the local atmosphere and service make up for it.

Great little hole in the wall sandwich place. Food is fresh, gelato is delicious, and they serve these amazing crepes all day. The staff are really nice and the prices are fair. I'll be back.

Is this place under new management? It used to be one of our favorite spots, and we drove a long way to get there. But wow...no wonder it was completely empty on our recent visit. We realized this was not the same experience we’d enjoyed in the past when three of us got our meals about 10-15 minutes before the fourth in our party got his. We waited for his to arrive to start eating, so our food was cold by that time. The crepes were delivered to the wrong people. So the person who wouldn’t voluntarily touch prosciutto with a 10-foot pole dug in, expecting sausage, only to be grossed out by a mouthful of not-sausage, while the person who actually ordered the prosciutto accidentally devoured half of the wrong crepe. At least there would be a nice, warm mug of coffee...but, no. The coffee was undrinkable. We are coffee lovers, and this mug of coffee had a strong chemical taste. We quietly asked the girl who took our orders if possibly we’d gotten a mug of coffee from a machine that had some cleaning solution in it. No, she said. I pushed a bit, thinking the coffee could be dangerous to drink. “It tastes and smells like bleach,” I told her. “We don’t have bleach here,” she said. No apology. She offered another cup from the same pot. Uh...no thanks. Can I get my $6 tip back? I screamed silently in my own mind. She didn’t hear me. When we gathered our plates (you have to bus your own table) I asked if she wanted me to take my untouched coffee to the bussing station. “You can leave it,” she offered graciously. Can I get my tip back? I silently screamed all the way home. Enjoy my $45, Gelato Co. We can’t afford to throw money away, so will never spend another cent with you.

This review is rating the Gelato only and the restaurant facility not the rest of the menu. My daughter and I went here on a very hot day temperature was around 100. First this is a in a nice old building. They had about six gelatos to choose from. I had the Lemon Honey and it was delicious my daughter thought hers was great too. Their menu board is gorgeous it is written in many colors of chalk and the lettering is very artistic and attractive. Not a real lot of seating but was not crowded when we were there. The lady that was working was very nice. Would like to have lunch there someday they offer a variety of sandwiches. But we are only in Gainesville twice a year. Downtown and you have to park on the street or in a deck. Street parking is free if you can find a place.

Family owned and service can be a bit slow, but very yummy and cozy!

So very yummy, and very healthy servings (they don't skimp) and they're knowledgeable about their gelato. Which I appreciate. The only thing that I didnt love had nothing to do with staff or food which was college students playing poorly on the piano. Other than that an excellent experience.

The sandwich I got here was spectacular. It was a grilled ham & cheese but can't remember the special ham name. The service guy was great, very helpful & nice. Definitely a great place to visit!

This place has some of the best food in Gainesville. I go whenever I’m downtown and get the AMAZING cucumber delight sandwich. It’s pretty reasonably priced too. Great atmosphere.

It's a decently little place, though I can't say the gelato is super authentic or that amazing. The food options looked pretty good, however and they have a deal to get a small gelato with your meal.
Fall 2019: Roaches. Rodents. Food temperature and storage violations. Look up the food safety inspection stiff online. So sad as the food and service was always amazing. But we can't return now. :(

Came me for a quick lunch break from work. No wait seat yourself style and food didn't take long to come. I ordered the chicken hail Caesar salad but it was okay the lettuce tasted like it was going bad and the chicken tasted good but it was so shredded that it just made the salad worse. The service was great but if I come back again I think I will try the sandwiches instead.

Wonderful spot, in town for parents weekend. Tables inside and outside Walked over from hotel, they were open and served breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Greeted warmly and Jerome made some suggestions. Went with his recommendation on the bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Orederd 2, wow good stuff, nice big sandwich. Then owner let us have a sample of their award winning tomato base soup. Ih so good. Oh and you get a free small gelato when you order sandwich and drink. I'll be back. Thank you.

Perfect spot to celebrate our graduate today! Owners and staff were so considerate and had every thing ready when we arrived! The food was fantastic and the gelato was amazing! Service and atmosphere was just what we needed for our gathering!

We came here with our kids after dinner downtown. The favors were limited but very tasty. The issue I have is how expensive the gelato was. The large was the size of a small. Just be prepared when you get there.
