The chicken was amazing. Great flavor and cooked to perfection. Others in our party had a fish dinner and said it was really good. The chicken livers were cooked just right. Baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad didn't disappoint. The collard greens were on point. Not too salty and seasoned for a great taste. Definitely will be going back.

I ordered mixed gizzards and liver (1lb) with potato salad and corn. Got all the way home and only had chicken liver? and that wasn't even a pound. The only thing good was the corn. My son ordered 10pc chicken meal and 5 rolls. Got home NO rolls. Tried to call and the number is not setup to take phone calls. First and definitely my last time visiting the place.

Not what I am used to getting from there. The gizzards were not the same as the previous staff used to serve but the staff is above being friendly and courteous. The atmosphere there is very feel good but the chicken gizzards need to be pressure cooked a little bit longer before they’re fried. An extra minute would make them more tender however it could’ve been that I was there late enough that it made the difference so I’ll try it again at an earlier time and maybe the food will be More of what I’m used to . When the previous owners were there it was very busy and sometimes it would affect the food because the later it got the more burnt the grease was so it affected the flavour but this was not the tender pound of mix that I had been used to. The owners are new though so I’m sure they will get it right if given the opportunity.

This is take out only no tables in the establishment. With that said the food is really good. The chicken is cooked to perfection. A crispy and nicely seasoned coating a with juicy meat. I was excited for the collards, but they were not that flavorful. The mac and cheese was also good even though I am not a fan normally. I will be back to try the fritters and hush puppies. OMG the gizzards are a must.

If you want to taste a Real Country Chicken, don't look no more. The Chicken is crispy, juice and delicious. The sides mashpotato and gravy and cole slaw, Super Taste... Super Good. Definitely recommended. IS THE BEST CHICKEN IN TOWN.

I purchased a fried chicken tenders and the chicken livers which it need a little bit more seasoning to it and also it was burnt seemed like I got the bottom of the basket
