Sunday brunch... not too impressed. Food tasted good but there was such a small serving. Sides did not compliment the main course. I didn't like paying for water. Music was too loud for a brunch setting. Waitress tried her best but was too new to know any answers. I'll try again on a different day. I ordered the curry shrimp...I'm Jamaican so I expected rice... no such luck...

My experience was great! Went with a few ladies in my Meetup group and we enjoyed the hospitality. The food was great...well above my expectations! The red snapper was hands down my favorite dish!

Dinner was delish! I had the oxtail pasta that was featured on Deco Drive. Portions were huge and yummy. The steak, fried fish, and j*** pasta that friends had were all great. Great service and music to accompany the food. Will definitely return!

My experience at the restaurant was very nice, and the food was delicious. The only issue I had was waiting a long time for my food because I went there for lunch around 3:00pm for my birthday but they said the changed the hours to open at 5:00pm but it was worth the wait!

I'm thankful that I have great husband who has great friends who shared the location of this amazing black owned restaurant. Hence, we found ourselves out on a Tuesday night enjoying a fabulous dinner and incredibly talented comedians at Kona Kitchen and Bar. Miami Larry Dogg was an absolute blast. He totally engaged the audience with his antics and had everyone laughing in tears! For dinner, my husband had the salmon, mac&cheese and rice and peas... he couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food tasted. Kudos to the chef!! My salad was perfect for me. ... yes, salad..... (I'm on a detox journey and have already lost 7 pounds this month).....I did enjoy one vodka on the rocks and my husband's drink was on point. There are plenty of great Caribbean entrees on the menu to choose from. The prices were inexpensive for the excellent quality of food served. We can't wait to come back to enjoy some more of the selections. The atmosphere is upscale, comfortable, inviting, classy yet casual. Fun games are at each table to keep things light and makes for a good distraction- I love a good game of Uno. They offer seating in booths, tables, bar height tables and at the bar. It was nice to see so many couples and groups of friends hanging out at Kona and enjoying life. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Meagan was a doll. The DJ played great music. The entertainment and food was amazing. With a location in the hot district of downtown Hollywood, this bar and restaurant is a must on your list of places to visit with your family and friends. You won't be disappointed. ??

Probably the best food in downtown Hollywood trust me. We had shrimp and waffles, lobster and shrimp with mac n cheese, and kona wings. I can't explain how amazing the flavors are on the wings but its amazing. The seafood was super fresh with subtle yet flavorful seasonings. The service was pretty good. The only thing I would fix is the music being a tad too loud but you get used it after seeing everyone jam to it. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. The head chef Chef Lo has left the company so I'm sure the food won't be the same.

Food is great. A bit pricey that's why I gave four stars instead of five. Never dined in. Always take out. So I'm not sure about the atmosphere but it seems to have a nice vibe. I will probably eat there tomorrow. The fried whole snapper is to kill for 👌

The food is amazing!!! Everyone was amazing and was given great service! We received a complimentary meal from the chef while we waited for our food and the drinks made by Ice were amazing. If you're in ft Lauderdale/Hollywood area you have to stop by and experience excellent service and great food.

This was the worst place I have eaten in South Florida. First of all we were told they have a Brunch on Sundays. That turned out not to be true. There was only about 4 or 5 things we could order on the Menu. The waitress was new and had not a clue about anything on the menu and had to keep checking with someone else. The menu says chicken and fries but no fries available. No mashed potatoes. No bread except for coco bread with the omelette. The curry shrimp serve with rice that was frozen and reheat in the microwave. Me and my party of 4 left very displeased with the food. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. Our first clue when we entered the door something was wrong we could not smell any food cooking. 2 Stars is really too much. They need help.

This place was amazing! I had the shrimps, Wings and fries. The service and food were Great. Chef Lo and his team take their time and care to prepare the food. It shows. This place is great for a date, quick bite or a birthday dinner. 💛

I will rate this spot 1 star. It's in a prime location but the food and service was NOT the best. First, the food is Not seasoned well, we had to pour oxtail gravy on EVERYTHING to give our bland food some flavor. Second, the server was not attentive to our table. She lost some of our orders and had us waiting over an hour to get food. Once our food arrived, it was cold and missing important things like salad dressing. Not once did she come and see if our order was correct. I sent my meal back to the kitchen. I will never eat at this restaurant AGAIN!
