When we called back the following after I placed the order , the lady had the audacity to say I called in at 6 pm to place an order . Thanks to my call log , i called at exactly 3:07p.m. You had more than 24 hours to let me know.I called in on Wednesday and we needed the cake for Friday .Do the maths. I wish they would have said something so I could figure out the next option. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.They will leave you hanging.

I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about as I haven't ordered a cake yet.I am very pleased with most of everything I got. I am not a fan of cupcakes in general and sice I have to get some for kids bdays at school, I ordered the cupcakes from here and they are the best I found, no heavy disgusting icing, they are vegan and gluten free and they have the mini option.I absolutely love the muffins here, hard to believe they are vegan and gluten-free since they are soft and delicious.The bread is very good too and so are the pound cakes.It's great to have such a good vegan and gluten free option close to home.

omg not sure these awful reviews..wow!! i am shocked!! i called Ana.the day i needed a cake and she whipped up an AMAZING yummy VEGAN GLUTEN FREE!! absolutely one of the BEST cakes of any cake i have ever had!! she spent time taking my order and emailed me AWESOME customer service!! I have a birthday coming up and need a cake so i wanted to try cupcakes before ordering an entire cake to make sure that i will like it. I typically make my own because of my dietary restrictions but i have a newborn and im just not up for the challenge of trying to balance a newborn and making a cake.The individual was super understanding and went over substitutions for sugar and options for flavor recommendations. This place holds a special place in my heart. The cake taste wonderful absolutely no complaints. Ana was so nice and helped me decide the perfect cake for my anniversary. My boyfriend is not a fan of cakes but he loved this one and for that she has a returning customer. Customer service was impeccable. 10/10 recommended.

We have finally made it to sweet love pastry after having it bookmarked for years. My daughter was off early today and we were all able to manage to stop by before they closed for the day. The shop is small, with the daily selections in a glass case, but you can see some of the kitchen in the back where the bakes come from. A lot of cupcakes were left, but my daughter hasn't had much luck with vegan cupcakes; mainly because most are too sweet for her. Other options were muffins, donuts, two black and white cookies, and some other flavors of mini loaves. We were assured that everything was vegan, with the exception of the banana bread mini loaf. However, my daughter had been concerned because the board to the side had claimed that the cookies weren't vegan, but asking the girl who was checking us out again, she said that it was indeed vegan. My wife got a blueberry muffin and a red velvet cupcake, which isn't pictured. She said that they were both dry. But she understood that she wasn't part of the crowd that the bakery is intended for (vegans and those suffering from gluten allergies). I tried the muffin and thought it had a nice flavor, but the texture is a little different from what I'm used to since I'm also not gluten free. When my daughter tries her desserts, I will come back to update my review. Finally, while checking out, the cashier gave us a 10% off coupon which was very kind of her to do. Also don't forget, when you check in you get a 10% your first order! I may not come back myself, but if your someone who is vegan, gluten free, or likes trying new bakeries, I say give them a try! They're surely worth the price and kind faces!

I say this because I got the Blueberry Muffin and Red Velvet Cupcake. Neither were fluffy and both were like dense hockey pucks and a little on the dry side. However, our daughter is vegan and she wanted to bring some treats home. Many of the products are offered only if you call ahead and place an order. I wish the owner Ana well. There is definitely a difference between these desserts and ones that you would find in a traditional bakery. This is a haven for those that suffer from celiac disease and anything that would prevent that person from having a special treat.

Good day!ORIGNAL REVIEW:I've been here before ( a few times) and purchased Guava cupcakes with filling in them, they were really good. I just went back and purchased 2 cupcakes, one guava, one strawberry, one guava pound cake and one banana pound cake, the cupcakes had no filling in them, they were stale and i could not tell one from the other. while i was there the girl behind the counter said they were low on flavors and today is baking day (my understanding in that statement is the ones she had available were not from this morning, i was ok with that) I called and inquire about the filling and how long they had been sitting there, the owner told me her cupcakes never had filling in them and that they were baked this morning, which i don't believe at all based on how stale (not even from the night before) the were, the inventory the had considering they open at 10am and i was there by 11:30am, she did offer to bake me new ones, but i don't have time to go back, we hung up; i called her back to inquire about refunds (because now i don't want to eat the pound cakes) she said "yes" and hung up on me. Definitely not going back!

So, now I can be very honest about this! Please please ignore negative reviews on here. I have used them three times now and every single time my cake came out exactly perfect and just like photos! I ask intricate things from them, and every time, I kid, you not, the cakes are showstoppers! We called several days in advance to special order a cake for our son’s 21st birthday. We get there to pick it up and apparently the person taking the order didn’t communicate with the baker who wasn’t planning on being in that week to bake the cake. I wouldn’t trust this bakery. They can’t even coordinate amongst themselves to prepare for an order. Thankfully they reimbursed us.
