I must admit, we arrived at this restaurant hungry. We ordered an appetizer called palta rellena which was was an avocado split in half and filled with a shrimp salad. It was delicious however while we waited for it they brought out two hot rolls along with butter and a tasty tomato salsa. For our main course I enjoyed the parrilla and my wife had the breaded chicken. Excellent. Our server would not let us leave without trying dessert. We ordered the bread pudding. It was fantastic.
Place is very nice and clean. Made me feel comfortable even with my food to go. Coming back very soon.
Great food and customer service. They are very accommodating and listen to every request regarding their menu. My husband is american and he loves their pastel de choclo.
The DJ is great...the service is ok ,but the steaks price is high. The rest of the food is ok...
We stopped in on a Saturday night while in the area late, it was around 9 pm. They had a DJ playing music. It was almost too loud, hard to speak with everyone at the table but it was lively. The empanadas were great!
Lacking of traditional food. No point to call the restaurant chile if you only have 3 or 4 traditional plate. Waiter tried to push for the most expensive plate. I wont go again.
For all customers, check your bill.I have been coming here for the past year and I’ve never had a complaint about a waitress adding something to my bill without knowing about it.I came with my family, and I ordered the following:2 orders of empanadas de queso2 empanadas de carne2 pasteles de choclo1 order of humitas1 completo,2 soft drinks2 mix drinksFor this entire order, we get a small bowl and their regular size bowl of pebre. When I asked for two more pebres the waitress brought me one. She never said that it will be of extra charge, nor I believe it’s on the menu. When the bill came I asked why she charged me $3 for the extra pebre. The waitress begins to argue and I told her that I have never been charged for extra pebre. I told her to go ahead and charge the $3 and I left.I’ve been a waiter in the past and I’ve always had the curtesy to tell the customers for any extra charges.I am not an argumentative person and I can assure you that $3 is not going to hurt my pocket, but I’m writing this because there are people like this waitress that takes advantage of others. If I’m wrong about the waitress, I hope the restaurant makes it clear for all customers that pebre is of extra charge because chilenas can eat several bowls of this during a meal. Thanks
Excelente atención. La comida ESPECTACULAR!! Todo sabroso y con verdadero sabor chileno. Pisco sour y terremotos una delicia. La música en vivo fue la guinda de la torta, mucha energía! Volveré en mi próximo viaje a Ft. Lauderdale.
A good choice for relaxation. Great drinks.
A group of 20 of us went to Viva Chile Lindo the other night to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday because we were looking for a place that we knew of that had music. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. and DJ Boris was there. We all ordered appetizers drinks and dinner. Everyone was very happy with their meals and drinks but especially with the music and dancing. We had a fabulous time thanks to DJ Boris who played all of our '70s and 80s requests plus Great Latin music. Our eighties club closed a year ago so my group is looking for a place to dance and hear our '80s songs. I recommend Vive Chile lindo make Saturday night 70s and '80s from 7:00- 9:00 p.m.! I would definitely get my group to join! PS. I especially love the empanadas and look forward to going back and trying something new!
Fue como estar en mi pais .... exquisita la comida además del ambiente y la atencion de las garzonas ... todo excelente!!!
Delicious food and good quality, friendly service. A must go if you are in the Hollywood Florida area! The empanadas de carne are great.
Very authentic Chilean food.Amazing flavors. Everything was so fresh, the bread was locally baked. Loved it!If you want to try good international food go to this place. I recommend porotos con mazamorra(for bean and soup lovers).Pisco sour, amazing too!
I requested “lomo a lo pobre” but the French fries were awful, smell like old oil, taste like old oil and a bad quality, I had to throw away all the fries. At the end I paid like $30 just for the steak. First time and I’m pretty sure will be the last.
Beautiful place , good music
