I might have gave this 5 stars except for false advertising. The web site show $7 subs after 5 but employee’s say it changed to $8 subs - although the website shows today’s date and all week for $7. Unique atmosphere and plenty of sweet tea. It did take a while to get my order and they were not busy. I got the Peruvian and it was ok. A couple slices of ham, three slices of salami and two slices of bacon on a very toasted roll. Maybe I was expecting too much since I had friends from out of town text me and say they heard it was the best sub anywhere. I’ll give it another try but I was not overly impressed with the sandwiches.

Great sandwiches, the Dr Bang and tots swimming in peruvian gold sauce are where its at. Great service everyone is so happy and friendly. Atmosphere is super relaxed.

Food was Good. Prices good. But it was crazy busy the day we went and we had a hard time finding seats. And the sounds of a crowd echoed throughout the restaurant. So it was very relaxing. But it was entertaining to look at everything going on. We will try again. Thanks

Called in an order and pick up was quick and easy! I was on the phone on speaker with a friend and she had asked for sauces Ben overheard the conversation and grabbed the sauces for me. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience! Malena is also an amazing employee and super helpful. They are both amazing, will come back and visit again.

Went in and ordered at 11:55- waited no joke an HOUR for three subs- asked to speak to a manager and waited 45 minutes for that and manager never came over- subs were wrong, and toasted to the point that they burned- that’s crazy

50 minutes for a sandwich…. Gave us wrong order and forget the sides. Not worth the hype. AVOID

A visit to Jax Beach means a visit to Angie’s Subs! My faves are the Peruvian and Dr. Bang’s! Pretty busy on a Thursday at lunch. These subs are super tasty and satisfying after playing pickleball. Friendly service always. I remember my first visit when I started college at UNF in 2004. Good to see Angie’s is still the powerhouse of the subs!

Super disappointed after returning for the second time and the first experience wasn’t great! And sadly to add to the 20 min wait they burnt my sandwich and the bread is the best part of the sandwich! Of course a little crunch is nice but not this…

Sun Deli on 3rd street is consistently better

Their abbreviation sums up the quality of the food. A.S.S. If your sub is toasted you will have cut up gums from the edges being burnt - similar texture to a crouton. Dry chicken thighs the first time, saved by dousing with Peruvian sauce although the crust was burnt. Second time the sub was better (still dry and needed sauce) and the crust was burnt again.

As much as I hate to say this, Id take firehouse and even Jimmy Johns over this place based on my experience here.

Two stars because of Peruvian sauce and tater tots saving them.

Tasty subs and great sweet tea. Free sub on your birthday too!
