It’s a no from us. Went early on a Labor Day weekend (6pm Sunday). Sat at the hibachi with a strange group of people, lackluster service, coughing hibachi chef with zero flair. Watched the group behind us getting the full experience was kinda disappointing. $125 for flavorless, sad food. Lesson learned. Miso soup was bland, probably a powder. Ginger salad was extremely wet, fried rice/veg was made with only oil and soy sauce(chef didn’t add butter/ salt/pepper). Wham ban thank you maaam kinda service

Staff was very friendly. Food wasn't the best I've had. Lobster was perfectly cooked. Shrimp, rice, and vegetables were cooked well. Steak wasn't good. Atmosphere seemed dim and gloomy, and gave the impression the restaurant may have had better days, but those were passed. It was the service and decent food that didn't ruin it. The show was just a person cooking food, little flash or interaction that I've come to expect from other hibachi locations, but he was nice. Experience seemed alright.Dietary restrictions: All foods are cooked to order and they were very accommodating to substitutions.

Mikado has merged with Pho 99 Fusion! Pho 99 was located on Blanding and 103rd but they have recently moved in to Mikado! Such a nice restaurant accommodates big crowds , nice, clean and kid friendly. I’ve tried both hibachi at Mikado side which was amazing and I’ve had the Pho 99 which was the main reason we have visited. Hands done yummy and the owner Vivian is such a sweet heart. We will be returning for sure! Five stars

We dined here on Christmas Eve and didn't have to wait. Great food, a lot of it, and great service. It was a little cold in the restaurant, they needed to turn on the heat.

We unfortunately picked this place over all the rest to celebrate a special occasion. Our meal was brought out in opposite order - entree first, soup (the wrong one), salad, then sushi that was ordered as appetiser. I had to awkwardly ask for every item that was supposed to be included in the dinner, and we never even got all of it. 2 out of the 3 waitresses (super weird) that came to our table were unable to answer questions about the menu. The "seared" tuna sushi roll looked and tasted like the bigger flakes in canned tuna. Worst roll I've ever had. The fried rice was just rice with maybe 3 flecks of egg in it. We didn't bother to complain. Just wanted out of there.

Terrible experience. Went during lunch time with my young child. Place was empty. We were the only ones there. Server came out and was not engaging at all. He didn’t do any of the tricks, no fire, no jokes for my young child he just cooked our good and left. Food was very nasty. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.

I was on my lunch break and knew I needed to find something quick. We ordered two lunch bento boxes, one chicken katsu, one salmon katsu. The staff was friendly and the soup was nice and hot ☺️

We had an excellent experience. The food was great, and our service was very prompt. We will definitely return!Vegetarian options: Lo mein, veggie fried rice, tempuraKid-friendliness: Options can be modified to a child's portion. Hibachi experience is fun for most children.

Staff is great no problems there, Ginger salad was delicious. Shrimp and rice were good too! But the hibachi chicken tasted like it literally had been soaked in soy sauce. It was even worse after re heating it. Please fix this. Last few times we went here it was nothing like that. Idk what happened but if you get hibachi, DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN.
Great food and service! I hope they open
