I gave Ford’s Garage a 1 star due to the fact that I am unable to choose zero stars. In all my 48 years I have never had such an awful experience. Upon entering the establishment, there are 2 employees behind the counter helping a couple make a T-shirt selection. Both employees turn around and see all 8 of my party standing there and didn’t acknowledge us and both continued helping a customer with her T-shirt selection. After a few minutes the gentleman employee proceeded to seat us and didn’t greet us with a “hello welcome in” or an “oh I’m sorry for your wait”. They were out of kids menus and I asked him how we could see what was on the kids menu, was there an online menu or a QR code we could scan? He told us the waitress would just have to tell us. The waitress came, took our order and we waited for our food. At each of the tables was a sign that stated they added a 20% gratuity (regardless of your party size). Basically they pay their employees more on the hour, they have a person seat you, someone else bring your drinks, someone different brings your food, the bartender mixes your drinks and the waitress takes your order and gets you whatever you need. If you want to leave an extra tip you can. When we walked in there were only 2 other tables. Others comes in after us but no where near busy. Two tables had gotten their food that came in after we did. We all got cheeseburgers and chicken strips, nothing difficult. We had waited for an hour. I asked our waitress if she could go check on our order we had been there for an hour and other people had gotten there food and we were sitting there with hot melting drinks and not even our appetizer. After she went and checked on her other tables on the way to the back, she came back up and stated she was putting in other orders when she was “trying” to put ours in and she forgot to put in ours!!! And that she would tell her manager right away to put a rush on the order. So they charge a 20% gratuity right off the top anyway to provide “better service” so that the waitress can be on the floor at all times and the other workers bring the drinks and food. Which the only time I seen her was when a new customer came in and she took their order. We got up and left. I couldn’t take another minute in there and was certainly not going to pay a 20% gratuity after waiting an hour and the waitress “forgot” to put our order in. Sadly we didn’t get to taste the food we “ordered”. We will never be back!!!??

When we arrived, it did not seem to be that busy but we were told it would be 15 minute wait. After checking again and being told 5 more minutes, It turned out to be about 35 minute wait. Once we were seated, it still took a while to see a waiter. We were told that there would be a 20% service charge, which initially we didn’t mind. We don’t tip less that 20% anyway. But our experience here was not great. We asked 3 times for refills before we finally received it. My burgers and onion rings were not even hot. It just didn’t seem like it wasn’t that busy for the service we received. Our family talked about how much they loved this place but it was just okay. Maybe we caught them at a bad day. 7pm on a Tuesday night may not be the best time to visit.

Kid-friendliness: Our server was Jenna & she was awesome ! She did everything in a timely manner on top of her giving the adults & the children a fun dining experience ! The guys at the bar as well . They truly made my nephews day letting him blow the horn on one of the cars that are up in the ceiling ! If you go please ask for her . She’s very sweet and will give you the proper dining experience that you’d wish you could get at every restaurant . Thank you so much Jenna for all of your recommendations on what was on the menu ! We hope to see you again the next time we visit ❤️

Overpriced for the quality of the food.Especially since they add a 20% service charge and they still expect you to tip.
Great food, not overly great service. Entrees come within 2mins of appetisers so be prepared to eat at same time or let one go cold sitting there while finishing. 20% auto service charge on bill is fine with me, but then not offered any change out of $120 from a total $104 bill so it’s as expect a 33% tip automatically even though intended leaving extra it shouldn’t be expected, and not asked if wanted desert, just given bill before even finished. Would return if set up changed otherwise wouldn’t, unless ordering to take-out as food is good.

Food is really good however this place is let down massively by its service. Its incredibly slow and I had to ask 3 times just for my drink to arrive. Not impressed. Ps now I am dropping to two stars after more long waits and just being handed the cheque after we had finished. I can assure I won't ever make the mistake of eating here again
