I have to say, I thought Krispy Kreme would taste nice in the US. I had only ever tried them in Mexico and in the UK, and they are awesome there! But here, maybe it was just this one shop (I've not tried another yet), but they dont taste so good. I'm not sure if its the doughnut itself or the icing. Also, not a lot of variety. They have the classic glaced, lemon and chocolate filled, chocolate and strawberry glaced qith sprinkles and thats it I think... and the doughnut holes and mini glaced ones. It seemed very basic selection. Also, this was kind of funny... I asked if theyhad decaf coffee and they said yes, so I said I wanted a decaf latte and then they said "we dont have decaf latte, just coffee", which I found hilarious because is latte not coffee in this country?! ? anyway, staff are ok, just seem to take their time before they start serving you.
