Years ago, Drinkwallah was my absolute favorite little spot in Animal Kingdom for a quick, tasty vegan snack on a hot day. The cinnamon glazed almonds were always warm and perfectly sweet, and nothing beat sipping a frozen Coke while relaxing in the calm seating area, away from the crowds, with a beautiful view of the water.
Unfortunately, on my first visit back in two years, we left pretty unimpressed. The frozen Coke was served in a very tall $5 souvenir sipper cup that we hadn’t asked for. While the cast member did offer a refund when we brought this up, instead of pouring the drink into a regular cup, they left the filled sipper cup off to the side — something we noticed happening to the guest behind us as well. It made us wonder (and worry) about how much food waste happens in the parks every day.
The cinnamon glazed almonds, the very snack that made us fall in love with Drinkwallah to begin with, were served cold rather than warm, tasting no different than any prepackaged nuts you’d find in a store. Disappointing, to say the least.
That said, the seating area is still one of the most peaceful, scenic spots in Animal Kingdom. Here’s hoping this was just an off day and not a sign of where Drinkwallah is headed. Long live Drinkwallah! 🩵

Tried their caramelised nuts which were absolutely amazing! There is a sitting area shared with Joffrey's that is very calm and peaceful. I think it's my favorite spot away from the crowd at Animal Kingdom.

Stuffed pancake sandwich amazing. Stop by during the rainstorm and the staff was super helpful. Decided on the stuffed pancake and it was really fantastic and unexpected. Slightly more corn flavor than just sweet pancake flavor.

Ok here's the deal with the Frozen Coke and that dreaded souvenir cup... I was told by a cast member if you request it in a normal cup it's $5 but you must ask they will NOT tell you about it. I think it's crazy to pay $10 for a slushy because of that cup!

So I was in Asia yesterday (January 8) 2022 and I order a lion king cup with frozen coke and one of the nice ladies says "you have good manners" she then notices my birthday pin and proceeds to hand me frozen coke and mickey ice cream 50th anniversary edition and it's free for the ice cream

We ask for a popcorn refill and two frozen drinks, he gave us our drinks in the more expensive and ugly the plastic skipper without asking, he then gave us regular popcorn and charge us full price for everything, I feel like he wanted to take advantage of us.
