This is not just a coffee, gelato and pastry shop. It also serves quiche, food from the grocery (like carrot salad) and croissants (with chicken salad, etc) It's a great light lunch spot with many delicious delicacies. The desserts ran about $6 and the smallest gelato was $4. It's open and attached to the market so you can eat AND grab something for supper. The only poorly thought out aspect is parking. Excellent gelato, super nice staff, great atmosphere. The dedication to quality throughout the offerings makes any choice a delicious and enjoyable experience. We will be back for the French pastries and coffees. Their takeout foods are consistently excellent as well.

I visited Berna's Turkish Coffee a few weeks ago and was very pleased with my experience! I sampled the lemon meringue and fig and mascarpone gelato and purchased a cup of the fig gelato. The gelato was creamy, sweet, and the perfect portion size. My cup had more mascarpone than fig but I still enjoyed the sweet cheese taste.
